OK, first off my husband and I had our first three visits here, and on each visit, after being seated it took at least 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. We normally order wine first thing off, and then are given time to look over the menu. However, when the waitstaff finally came to our table, they wanted to jump right into taking our food order. This is not the protocol Christo's should follow. We thought maybe, just maybe it was a fluke. So, last night we took our friends there in hopes that maybe Christo's would have figured it all out. Nope. We were seated, and ignored for 10 minutes. Then the cute blonde tatted gal came to take our order. our FOOD order! This just blew my mind, again! I don't know, maybe this is how it is done in Italy? My friend's cheese cannelloni was almost (sorry to say) cold. We didn't dare say anything, because you know what they do when you send food back.......I wanted the cannellini salad, but was told they were out. Really, how difficult would it have been for a waitstaff to run to the market and get some beans and make more! Other than that, our other dishes were great. Also, we all screwed up and accidentally gave this waitress a 25.00 tip, on top of the 95.00 bill. That was our fault. So, all in all, Christo's is a good place for dinner, especially if you don't want wine or beer right when seated, and if you don't mind the flakey service.
