I recently went into this location with my family and because I had on a backwards baseball cap, the manager Destry Creek took it upon himself to follow me and my little brother and cousin around. My girlfriend noticed what he was doing and wanted to leave. I on the other hand decided to confront Destry. When I asked if he was following us, he gave us a lot of attitude and was very disrespectful. I then asked for the number to some kind of management and he gave me the number to a sexline. I went in to get the real number and he laughed at me. As for the number, I have been trying to call the Corporate office and have been leaving numerous message with some guy named Joel. But no one has been trying to get in contact with me at all. Some customer service huh? All I wanted to do was go and buy one of those electronic bibles and that didn't even end up happening. You know, I am a 21 year old male who is just found Christ and am beginning mhy walk with him. It's a good thing that this happened to me and not someone who is weaker than me. I mean, at least I have the heart to stand up for myself and what I believe in. What if this happens to someone and they just decide to turn away from the LORD. And who's to say that it already hasn't happened. I would really appreciate it if someone could get in contact with me so that I follow thorugh with this and make sure that it never happens again. Destry Creek calls himself a Christian man, but yet he choose to judge me. I have done nothing to this man, as a matter of fact, I've never even met him. And through a little research, I have found out that he is not only the manager for the Kent store, but also the Burien store. How can you claim to be doing GOD's work and yet portray yourself to be the DEVIL. That's exactly who I see when I think of this man. What he did to me and my family was unexceptable and something needs to be done. I would hate to make this a legal matter. Thanks to those who read this! They present a nice, clean store with several of the more popular excerpts from today's books, cd's and study supplies. Unfortunately they are extremely lacking in variety - I've found more Christian books and cd's in a Border's, for goodness sake! This could be written off if they had a quick method of ordering your needed items, but (sad to say) they do not. Finally, customer service, though polite, is normally far from efficient. There have been far too many times where five (or more) customers all had to wait for extended periods of time because there was only one cashier. Very unfortunate, indeed.
