DC is not lacking in the fast-salad market (Sweetgreen, Freshii, Mixt Greens, etc.). Chop't is actually one of the better ones and among all the competition with regular fast food joints in Chinatown/Penn Quarter, Chop't holds its own. I love the wide variety of options available, including meats and dressings, and that anything can get put into wrap form for easier on-the-go dining. And I've noticed that the actual produce at Chop't always looks fresh, not hours or days old. Expect healthy, quality salads (or wraps) here. If you're hanging out in Chinatown, and want to avoid the greasy alternatives, opt for Chop't.
