Choices Hair Studio & Day Spa

I usually anticipate a trip to the hairdresser as I would going to the dentist, but I went to Choises in Delmar and came out feeling very happy. I brought in a picture of the style I wanted and Pam gave me exactly what I asked for. I am very picky about my bangs and they were perfect. Thanks Pam! The place is clean, very convenient for me, and the prices are super. Would definitely recommend to others. more

Just last week, I brought in my son and myself in for a haircut. There was no one in the salon but us getting our hair cut. We were in and out in 22 minutes. The hairdresser was extremely rushed even though there was on one customer in the salon. My son just got a trim and his sideburns don't match and the top of this hair is cut unevenly. I won't take him back there. As for myself. I got a lot of length cut and ask for my bangs to be trimmed. My bangs are as long as ever. She took no length off at all. Now I have to go out and have them redone. The cut itself is ok, but It is really not stylish and no time was taken to make sure I was pleased. I am sad that it was not a good experience since the hours, location and prices are good. more

I found Courtney at Choices after a very bad experience at Jean Paul's. I asked a couple of women at my gym whose hair I admired, and I was referred to Courtney. She gave me a great cut, and the prices are so reasonable I couldn't believe it (so I tip well). Courtney takes her time with me and listens to what I want. I've been back several times, and the cuts have been consistently great. Choices will also try to fit you in when you call. For example, one day when I got a haircut I decided to get my legs waxed, and they managed to arrange it while I was there. Definitely recommend. more

I just want to let everyone know what a gem this place is! From the moment I walked in the place until I left, I was made to feel very welcomed. I had made an appointment to have my color done (it needed to be fixed) and the stylist not only consulted with my wants but also called over another stylist to confir about the best way to achieve it. They were so professional and at the same time very realistic about the end result of what they could fix with my color that day. They told me because my hair was already compromised that they could make it look better but that it would take about 3 visits before it would be perfect. Not only did it look 100% better, but the cost was very reasonable considering the time they took on it. While I was being done, they even were able to cut my boyfriends hair as he was waiting for me (this is actually his account)! I will continue to return to this salon because they were knowledgeable, friendly, and honest! more
