Your New Salon! 6/7/2007

Due to rave reviews of Arthur's excellent hair styling abilities, my mother-in-law is now a die-hard fan of this salon as well! She rarely goes to the same stylist twice due to dissatisfaction with her color, cut, the atmosphere, etc. Chique has managed to cover all three areas perfectly! There is no ""sterile"" environment feeling with this ""salon family"". more

Love Arthur!!! Knows what he's doing!!! 6/2/2007

After reading the reviews, I decided to try Chique. I was a little suprised that it was not the fancy, new, sterile atomosphere of the newer salons, but was greeted with a smile and immediately felt at home. I just walked in to make an appointment and actually got to get a haircut immediately. I loved it because I am a spur of the moment person and when I want it done, I want it now. I asked for Arthur and he was (i think eating lunch) but talked to me about my hair and then gave me a wonderful head massage!!!! After listening to me about my hair and what I liked, Arthur went to work. I talked and talked and he worked. The end result was FANTASTIC. I can honestly say that NO ONE has ever styled my hair after they cut it and I like it. I would always change something about it or add something but Arthur made it look awesome and I loved it. My hair is very short and I wear it kinda funky - Sharon Stone short. Highly recommended. He is your Buckhead stylist in East Cobbwoody. Pros: Location, parking, getting an appointment, Arthur the Great, head massages!!! Cons: Cant' think of any more

Great Hair Service 5/25/2007

I had to find a new Salon when my lady retired. I asked someone with a great look where she got her hair done and she said ""Chique Salon near the WalMart on Johnson Ferry and Shallowford area. How come I never knew this place was here--all the other reviews talk about how long people have been coming here!! Wow!! I have only been four times so far, but Christine is wonderful. She knew just what to do with my hair, together we figured out the tightness of perm curl for my ""strong"" hair. She did a great job with my color also. She is very knowledgeable, has a warm and friendly personality which makes you feel like she is really genuinely interested in you, and she is extremely efficient, even when attending to three or four customers at one time. I would highly recommend this Salon and all the staff here, and especially Christine. Pros: Convenient location, great service, love the neck massage, Christine!!! Cons: A little pricey: I was not used to separate pricing for curling iron, etc., but understand that is standard now in many places. more

Chique Hair Design 5/22/2007

I have been going to Chique Hair Design in Marietta for about 15 years now. I am an actress and model and have occasionally had to get a quick cut or change of style on sets for various roles. Supposedly, these on-set hair people are the best around, but I always look forward to getting my next appointment with Katherine so she can fix me back up! I've enjoyed being a client of Katherine's for most of these last 15 years and she'd better not ever retire!! The location is super convenient, the staff is ultra friendly, like an extended family to us! I highly recommend Chique Hair Design! But don't everyone run out and take all of Katherine's appointments now, leave some room for me! ;-p Pros: GREAT value for the amazing talent and services they provide! Cons: Don't always get my first choice in appointment times, but it's never been a real problem. more

Best kept secret 5/21/2007

Hilde is my stylist at Chique and I won't go anywhere else. She is not just a great stylist but a great person. She has kept me and my husband looking our best. I feel so glamorous when I leave the salon! She does a great job of balancing hip and making sure I still look professional. I always enjoy going to the salon and always will............ Christine is the greatest. She is very friendly and always suggests a great cut for me. I am a teenager and she always knows what is hot today. Her neck massages are a wonderful way to end a haircut and start the rest of your day. Pros: easy to get to straight from school or home more

Chique Hair Design is hot and Christine is the hottest. The highlights and cuts are always perfect, with a great sense of style and uniqueness. Christine is ALWAYS happy and professional but still offers that personal, friendly attitude. You always walk out looking great, with hot color a great cut and an super attitude to go along. I've gone to Chique for over 3 years. I saw the most amazing short haircut on this woman in Atlanta. I asked her where she got it done and she told me at Chique with Hilde. Since the salon was in East Cobb area, I didn't go and kept trying other ""name"" salons in Atlanta. I was never happy with any of the cuts or the color that I would get. A year later, I was at a party with two women whose hair was great......I asked where and they both said Chique with Hilde. So, I finally made an appointment and now I'm the one getting the compliments. I was such a fool for so long, don't make the same mistake I did. It's a great salon where everyone is professional and soooo nice. They really treat you well in all aspects. Go to Chique and see Hilde if you want to look your best. Pros: Great people, great place, parking, precision cutting, excellent color more

I've been a client of Chique for over 35 years. I think they do a wonderful job with both color and cuts. They are always on time, friendly and fun to be with. They will bend over backward to accommodate. I plan to go there for at least 35 more years! more

Chique Hair Design is my favorite studio. The team is top-notch and they actually listen to your requests for improving my appearance. They offer suggestions but always remain ""interactive"" with the client. They are not like other hair studios who always seem to know more than the client. more

Chique Hair Design is the best salon that I have found since moving to the area 24 years ago. I've gone to many before finding Hilde at Chique and have been a customer of hers for many years now. She gives the best haircut and styles my hair like no one else has ever been able to do. I am constantly asked where I get my hair done. I have referred many people to the Salon and they have always been very happy with their results. Hilde and her staff are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend a visit to this Salon. more

Greatest East Cobb Hair Salon! 5/6/2007

Best hair salon in all of Marietta! Christine is extremely knowledgeable on every phase of hair - cuts, style, colors, etc. - not pushy, and very diplomatically lets you know if what you think will look good, won't. You end up thinking it was your idea to begin with, and SHE'S RIGHT all the time. My grey hair never looked better once I started going to her. She is an easy-going, happy, energetic, or quiet conversationalist all rolled into one person - whatever your mood is, she latches on to it and goes along with what you want or need. I am a long time customer of Hilde. She is very professional, well mannered, helpful and always friendly. The fact I have continued to revisit her establishment for years lends to my continued satisfaction with her services. The Salon is clean and the other patrons very friendly and adds to the enjoyment of our visits. Pros: No Parking problems and will work with you on appointment times. more

Be confident to make the switch 5/3/2007

I always find it hard to switch hairstylists but I am SO GLAD I gave Hilde and Arthur a try. I haven't gone anywhere else for at least 3 years now since my move from LA to Atlanta. I've had my hair cut, colored, styled in salons in Los Angeles (and at studios for movie/tv) and Atlanta. The team at Chique gives me everything I needed: super friendly and comfortable atmosphere, fabulous cut, color, convenience and flexiblity. Every time I get my hair cut I ALWAYS receive compliments from friends and strangers! and I am confident to send my friends or anyone ready to make the switch. Arthur has a fresh, young spirit and edge and Hilde the absolute professional who listens to what I am ready for (low lights, bob, layers, highlights etc). Sometimes I'm in a rush (kids!) and I don't even have them style it and I KNOW when I get home it will work beautifully! I don't need a fancy blowout to show me the results but when I have the time it is always nice! If you are ready for a change - have confidence and give them a try! My guess is that you won't go look back. more

The best hair salon in East Cobb 5/2/2007

I just wanted to take a minute to recommend ""highly"" Christine she does our whole family of four. She is great with the kids (they constantly fidigit) my wife calls her a mirical worker and her thearapist, i like the razor clean up of my neck. Really can't say enough about Christine. Best mens hair cut in Atlanta 5/2/2007

I've been getting my hair cut at Chique for over 20 years now and continue to rank it as the best hair cut i've had. Throughout college and years traveling as a consultant, I've tried other places for a cut and always regret not taking the time to make an appointment with Hilde. She always takes the time to make sure my hair cut is exactly what i want rather than those other shops that sit you down, ask you what guard size you prefer and have you walking out the door in 20 minutes. Give Hilde a try and I bet you'll find yourself making your next appointment before you walk out the door. Pros: great hair cut, classy atmosphere, professionally run salon more
