Chinatown

It's very enjoyable to watch food prepared at its large oclean open working kitchen. The place has been a sensation since it opened many years ago. Huge portions. Luncheon plate specials. Best won ton and hot and sour soup around. The restaurant has tried dim sum and sushi with some success. Much of the food tastes the same, but is always fresh. The lines on Friday and Saturday can be long and the dinner rushed. more

Finally, a place with no MSG and Good Taste! Add to that the low cal dishes (steamed chicken is excellent), and you've got a healthy meal. And, Chinatown offers luncheon specials served ALL DAY LONG! Chinatown in Brockton is good, too. But this one, located in Cobb's Corner, has fresh seafood, too! more

Chinatown is our absolute favorite restaurant with locations in Stoughton and Brockton. The food is amazing and the service is friendly and cheerful. Chinese food can be hard when you dine with a picky eater or someone who doesn't like sharing. The great thing about Chinatown is that they have great dinner plates just like luncheon specials but served all day. Each dinner plate comes with a soup, an entree, fried rice, and your choice of one appetizer. Prices are about $8 to $10. I usually get the Yu Hsiang pork and love the spicy ginger flavor. I've also enjoyed the chicken with cashews and szechuan chicken. While I wasn't too fond of the sweet and sour chicken, everything else I have had there has been exceptional. They also serve sushi! more
