Jack and Ester are the owners and are a delight. When they are there the place runs like a top...7 days per week. When they take a day off or go on vacation the chef comes out of the kitchen and acts as the manager... which he has no aptitude for. Both the food and service suffer at that point. But the owners do deserve a week off at some point would`nt agree? My best advice is to call and see if the owners are in...you`ll get the very best service from them. If you are not happy with your meal tell them and they will make right.... Paul more

I have been eating at China Delight for what must be 10 years! The food is simply amazing and I have NEVER had any issues with the wait staff. In fact, one of them was rated the best server in the entire city--no joke! I'm sorry the other reviewers had bad experiences. I have never found that to be true. THIS PLACE IS A VEGETARIAN'S DREAM. In addition to all the usual meat options, they have vegetarian potstickers, tofu, tempeh, seitan and gluten, all prepared in deliciously healthy meals. The sauces are great, especially on the Sesame Tempeh (most local vegetarians' favorite). They use NO MSG, their water is filtered, and the portions are huge. Because of the size, I do not feel they are overpriced... 4 people can eat from 3 meals with no trouble. They even offer BROWN rice, not just your usual bleached out white or fried rice. The recent change in ownership doesn't seem to have changed a thing. We'll eat there again and again and again...and always get another meal out of the leftovers! more

China Delight offers a variety of different chinese foods. My favorites would definitely be their Orange Chicken and Beef Broccoli. Their service is quick and generally they staff is quite nice. However, one time I did encounter a waitress who wasn't as nice. Overall, I think they have great food and pretty good service. more

I have been there once but I was not satisfied with the food. The place is OK and the service was moderate. The restaurant could be cleaner and the prices are too high for the quality of the food. In addition the staff could use some PR training and learn how to smile more. more

China Delight Restaurant & Lounge offers coupons for their business in the daily newspaper. I tried it once and I was just satisfied by their service. It was my birthday that day, but the waitress treated me fairly rudely thinking that I say that to ask for free cake. But the food was OK, and the portion size was huge, I had a dinner and a lunch worth. more
