I am a very particular person when it comes to Chinese food. This restaurant is exceptional in every way - period!

I went there today after reading all the great feedback from this site.I found the place just so-so.Nothing to rave about-the food was just medicore.Service was not the best I had to hunt someone down just to get some water.And the place wasn't even busy.Would I go back....NO! more

The best in everyway. 1/13/2007

I found China Cafe to be the best tasting Chinese food I've found in the states. The wait-staff was more than friendly from entry to exit, always attentive but not bothersome. The food was plentiful (I've never left without a doggy-bag), and the taste was beyond expectations. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. I highly recommend China Cafe to those who are looking for value and great Chinese food with effiicient service. Pros: Value, taste, service and atmosphere were top-shelf. Cons: none more

Chinese + Food like no other 1/11/2007

To me there is no other Chinese resturant to go to. The food is the best I've tasted, ever. Don't get me wrong, I still like to grille a juicy steak on my own, but you really have to eat this food to be able to describe it. The taste of the various dishes leaves your pallette and appetite fulfilled to the max. As a sales rep also, I have used China Cafe for events. Besides these accounts asking specifically for China Cafe again, they also visit the resturant on their own driving many miles to get there. The wait staff are very diligent about keeping you satisfied, from when you walk in, to keeping your glass of cola filled. The cost is moderate, I feel below what this resturant could charge. A must for those looking for a great meal. Pros: Taste, staff, cost, environment/setting, location. Cons: none more

With all due respect, WAY too much hype on this one. Food was good but not great. Overpriced given the quality and portions. Wait staff was less than attentive, bordering on rude. Perhaps others see something we didn't! more

Much better than the ordinary strip-mall Chinese restaurant 12/15/2006

Although you wouldn't suspect it from the exterior, this is a really great Chinese restaurant. This was my first time eating there and I was glad to discover that they can back up the hype. The restaurant was busy during the lunch hour but we were seated and served quickly. The General Tso chicken is really excellent. The hot and sour soup was pleasently more sour than the typical fare one would normally be served in almost every other similar type of Chinese restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful and the interior design is much more put-together than most strip-mall Chinese places I've been to. Don't get me wrong, I love a hole-in-the-wall restaurant as much if not more than anyone I know, but this place just seemed more well thought out than most without coming across as trying too hard. The restaurant seems comfortable in its skin and confident about its abilities to provide really good food at good prices. I'll be back to try the lettuce wraps! Pros: Great food, quick service, great prices Cons: Don't come expecting to have your socks blown off...it's JUST really good food! more

We ate here tonight...and it was definately worth the trip. We ate a late dinner, so the place seemed more like a bar with some tables...but it was a cute place. The waitress recommended the dinner for 4 for us..and it was more than enough for 5 people. The food was absolutely delicious! The hot and sour soup, crab rangoons, mongolian beef, general tso's chicken, hawaiian chicken, and the chicken eggs rolls were some of the best (if not the best) that I have tasted. Needless to say, we will be back. Pros: The best chinese, excellent atmosphere, outstanding service more
