Food is great service is great me and my wife and daughter eat there a lot prices are reasonable and service 9x out of 10 is good more

China Cafe, located on the loop in Tyler, offers a wide variety of cuisine on a buffet that extends from one end of the restaurant to the other. They have a salad bar, several hot entree bar choices, a dessert bar, and a sushi bar. Should meet the tastebuds of any hungry visitor for sure! I've been going here since I was in high school. The buffet here is pretty decent for the limited choices in the area. The service is pretty fast faced and you can always find something you like. The choices though have been going a little downhill in the last few years and I don't giggle when I'm in there anymore, but it's still hot food and China Cafe has become a staple of mine. Besides lo mein, they have rice noodles out with the fried rice. The hot and sour soup is not as good as other parts of the country and has become a bit Texan-ized. I still go there and it's very clean. The 'moving' paintings on the wall give a really nice atmosphere to the place instead of feeling cheaper like the word BUFFET brings to other eateries. more

My sons love to go here because there is such a variety of food. There is just about every type of thing you can think of from sweet and sour chicken to egg foo young and so much more. They have traditional soups like Hot & Sour and egg drop. They also have a salad bar and dessert bar plus an ice cream machine. They usually have one Mexican dish like enchiladas on the buffet also. If you like crawfish this is the place to go, they have those usually on Friday nights and are my 2 older boys favorite item. more
