I ate at Chili's and they charged my card twice for the same amount. When I noticed the mistake I called and spoke with a manager who told me that it happens all the time and that the second charge would magically disappear within 3 days. After 3 days, the charge had not disappeared and the money was still missing from my account, so I called back. This time I spoke with a different manager who informed me that the charge was an accident on my server's part and that he probably didn't tell me about it because he was afraid of not getting tipped. What? Why is Chili's being run by a bunch of idiots who just point blame at one another? Why is it okay to have workers behave like that? I tipped my server $5 in cash for an $18 ticket that I paid for with my debit card. I do not care about whose fault it is or why I wasn't told about it in the beginning, I just want my money back. She then told me that the charge should ""go away within 3 days."" I already did that once. Now I'm waiting a total of 8 days for my own money back? What kind of help is this? I do not have millions of dollars to just let Chili's hold on to for a couple weeks. I did not open a bank account with Chili's. What a disaster. The food is mediocre and definitely not worth all the hassle I'm going through now. =( Thanks for the extra stress in my life, Chili's.
Pros: mediocre food
