My family couldn't have been luckier to find Children's Workshop Montessori! The staff is wonderful and program excellent. It's also worth saying that this is a certified Montessori program--only a handful of schools in the Twin Cities are, even though many claim to offer montessori programs. more

A True Montessori School 5/28/2009

There are many so-called ""Montessori"" schools in existance today and many of them may look like the real thing, but do your homework to find out what makes an AMI Montessori school different. This school produces children who love to ""work"" as they call it, and who know HOW to learn. This love of learning produces children who are confident, problem-solvers and who excel in any school they transfer to after kindergarten - usually topping all of their classmates with their deep understanding of concepts that to other children may seem abstract. Read about Maria Montessori and then come to see this place in action. Once you understand what this learning produces, you'll never want anything less for your children! Incredible School! 11/1/2007

Children's Workshop is a TRUE Montessori school, AMI approved, that follows the actual methods that Maria Montessori intended for childhood education. I have two children that have experienced it and thrived in this environment! It is run by a highly qualified and caring staff, and has a wonderful community of families. I would highly recommend it to anyone and encourage you to look into it! more

Searching for a montessori school? 10/29/2007

Enrolling our son in Children's Workshop was the best decision we ever made as parents thus far. As soon as I walked into the school to speak with the director, I knew it was the right school for him. We appreciate the teachers, other parents, calm environment, the ""work"" he does, community acitivities and the communication lines that are always open. If you are searching for an AMI certified montessori school, look no further, this is the school for you! more

Truly Montessori! 10/20/2007

Our experience at Children's Workshop has been fantastic. The program is a true Montessorie program, different from the chain programs that call themselves such. The staff is well prepared and loving. The children learn to become a part of a social family, while thriving academically. As parents, we have benefited not only from the school, but also from the fellowship with other parents, which the school encourages through parent education nights and friday coffees. It is a joy to have found Children's Workshop Montessori! I highly recommend it! Pros: environment, staff, AMI Montessori, parent involvement Cons: hard to get into more

A wonderful place for your child to learn and grow 10/19/2007

My child has been at Children's Workshop for almost 2 years now and it amazes me the things he comes home with. The environment is one in which a child can truly learn important everyday experiences and become independent as they progress through the program. The staff is amazing and each person brings a unique quality to assist the children in the learning process. The children's houses are set up in a way that as the children get older they go from a learner position to mentoring the younger children coming in new. Pros: The staff, the facility, the program! Cons: There is currently no toddler program but they are looking into it for the future. more

Both of my children have had wonderful experiences at Children's Workshop. The teachers are amazing and the sense of community among the staff and parents is phenomenal. more

This school is the highest quality Montessori school in the Twin Cities western suburbs; beautiful classrooms, wonderful teachers, highly recommended! Pros: great teachers, great facilities, great parents more
