My kids love this museum. There are so many things for them to see and do. They love the "crooked house" slide! We always have a great time.

My 3 year old had an okay time there. It seemed like it had a wonderful play area for toddlers and for older kids. My 3 year old found a few things to hold her interest but we like the science museum better for now more

This is a great place to take your children when it is raining or is too cold to play outside. It has tons of amazing hands-on activities that keeps your children occupied and helps them learn about how things work. My son's favorite room is the Garage Workshop and the temporary Bob the Builder exhibit is great as well. more

What's not to love about this place? Fun and educational exhibits in great space. My 8 month old had a good time even though he was rather young for most exhibits. Can't wait to go back to the waterplay area. Be prepared for your children to get wet there despite the provided raincoats! We will definitely become members. more

Even at younger ages, my kids and friends with kids who have gone with me, learn so much having so much fun at the same time with the various activities and displays, it is truly enlightening to a childs mind, and to us big kids too, a day of fun and learning it always is more

If you have not been since the remodel/expansionthen be sure to check it out. Its a new place four times the size of the old. Hint: Bring an extra set of clothes for after the water table fun. Discount day is Thursday. more

This place is amazing. One of the truly great resources for parents in Pittsburgh. Great rooms, very stimulating, always fun. My only complaint is that the corporate sponsored rooms are dull. more

so much fun. we took my 6-year old nephew, along with our 3-year old daughter. They both had a blast. I would recommend for ages 1-10. We went on a Sunday afternoon and were not ready to leave by closing time - allow at least 3 hours to really enjoy. Be sure to check out the upstairs water room - you will have wet kids though! more

The newly renovated Children's Museum is the perfect place to spend a rainy (or sunny) day. The building offers four floors of activities, including art, fine motor, water, and gross motor play. Tip: Go for the year membership. You'll pay for it after three visits and discount parking is included. more

Great new space with lots of fun exhibits for kids of all different ages. The water room (galoshes and raincoats provided) is always a hit. The art studio is huge and offers painting, sculpting, drawing, papermaking, etc. more
