While visiting my family out of town, my 7 month old son got sick. He ran a fever for three days, and wanted nothing at all to do with food. He only wanted mam and her milkies. So I decided it was time to take a trip to the doctor. West Point, Mississippi does not have many choices when it comes to a pediatrician, so I made an appointment at the Children's Clinic.
When we arrived, there was a line of people waiting to check in, but we quickly got to the front and were given all the paperwork to fill out. From entering the door to being seen, took about 20 minutes. The doctor, Dr. Rasalan (sp?) was a very sweet and gentle doctor. Though we were unable to determine exactly what was up with the babe's behavior, she did a very thorough check-up. She is also very breastfeeding friendly and told me how wonderful it is that I'm breastfeeding, several times. If Eli ever gets sick while we're visiting again, we'll definitely go back to the Children's Clinic!
