GREAT Halloween Costumes!!! 9/14/2010

I went into this place for the first time this weekend. It had a great selection. My friend and I found a ton of different costumes and we were able to find exactly what we wanted. The staff was really fun and helpful and gave us alot of ideas. I really enjoyed this place as it had a wide selection of costumes and great, friendly staff! more

Best Selection and friendly staff! 8/31/2010

I went here to look for a Halloween costume and was so impressed! The store looks small from the outside but is huge inside with a great selection. The basement even has a whole display of rental costumes. The store overall is very fun! The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly too. I'd definately recommend coming here for different, outrageous, inexpensive costume. more

Think costumes are for Halloween only? Think again. Chicago's finest costume store boasts a veritable cornucopia of costume selections year round. Located across the Lincoln Park campus of DePaul University and a block and a half from the Fullerton El stop, this costume store has never failed to come up in the clutch. more

Great selection, Great pricing and Great Service 6/2/2008

I needed to find a clown outfit for a birthday party. However, I was hoping to be a more casual clown, so I wanted to know my options. Courtland was very helpful showing me several options. He even showed me one shirt that can be used for either a clown, pirate or prisoner. I ended up getting a few things that worked out perfectly. I was very pleased considering it was convenient, affordable and had a large of selection to find what I was looking for, Also, it was easy to find parking. Pros: price, service, selectoin more

Good for general kid stuff. 10/11/2005

Chicago Costume generally has a fair selection. There seems to be more emphasis on decorations and kid stuff. During Oct I think they open up a few, small satellite locations. The main store never gets as crowded as Fantasy so it's an option if you can't get into Fantasy HDQ. Keep in mind that they have less of a selection for adult costumes and masks. more

Small shop but some unique items 6/4/2005

This is a smaller costume shop that is a little off the beaten path. They merchandise many items that are unique to what you find at the party warehouse stores. You'll find a wide variety of props, hats, wigs, etc. During the busier season it gets to be a bit of a mess, as do all stores of this type. Parking can be a hassle too, but overall it's a good store. more
