I was really excited to find a local, independent pet store in my new neighborhood. Over the summer, I ordered an ID tag for my dog from them. It was supposed to be mailed to my house but it never arrived. A few months after I made the purchase, I let the store know I had yet to receive the tag so they said they would have it shipped to the store and would call me when it arrived. A few weeks later, I get the call and go by the store to pick it up but they couldn't find it. I go back a few days later and find out they had notified the wrong person. I asked to get a refund as I was tired of the back and forth. Of course, they couldn't give me a refund because the owner wasn't there and I would have to come back on another day. ugh. I get another call a few more weeks later saying my tag was in. I go to pick it up and, stupidly, did not check it before I left the store. They got the street name on the tag wrong. I called the store to let them know and to verify that I had submitted the correct street name. I had. They said they would place the order again and the tag would be mailed to my house. That was a few months ago. I will never see this tag and have given up hopes that I will get a refund. Unfortunately, because of this experience I will also not shop at the Chic Petique (btw, I have a dog and 2 cats so I would have been a great customer for them).
