My experience with late night food in downtown Austin has been limited to hot dogs and pizza, so stumbling (not literally) across this food trailer was a lovely surprise.
They were located at 7th and, I think, Trinity rather than 2nd and Congress at the time.
I was lucky enough to be out with two other hungry folks, so I was able to try a small assortment from the menu. Everything on the list had the option of beef, pork, chicken or tofu. I went with chicken tacos, which were really spicy, had a nice sesame flavor as well as peanut sauce. The doubled tortillas were fresh, and the stuffing was just enough to make a fat happy meal without spilling out all over the place.
The Seoul cheesesteak (not sure about the name) with pork filling was also wonderfully spicy, with good quality pork - no crunchy gristly bits. The bread alone made the sandwich, buttery and crispy on the outside with a great crumb on the inside.
Favorite for me were the pork quesadillas with kim chee. They were stuffed thick, with just enough spice so you could still taste all the lovely flavor combos.
Hope these guys stick around and don't move the trailer too far so I can still find them.
