For once, we chose the right place to go for Valentine's Day. The food and atmosphere were terrific, our server Robin was attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable in a non-intrusive way. Tom is the greatest host, greeting us cheerfully and attending to our needs the moment we stepped into the place and right before we left. A highlight of our trip! 1/27/2009

We enjoyed our experience at Chez Betty so much that I recommended my best friend consider it for her upcoming engagement dinner. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and creative. Prices are comparable to other nice restaurants in Park City. more

A Perfect Night ! 1/26/2006

One of the most fantastic meals we have ever had. The food, service and atmosphere was exceptional. We were personally greated by the owner and chef as we entered and we were blown away by the entire expierence. All 4 of us had something different, yet we all were very impressed with our meals. We are NYC residents and have a mulitude of fantastic restaurants in our backyard. We are certainly tough critics. Chez Betty compares to any of the world renown NYC restuarants. We can't decide if it is the food, the comfortable ambiance, the exceptional service or growing wine list that keeps us coming back - It's all superb! Chef Jerry never disappoints, Tom is great with the conversation and the wine, and the wait staff is superior to any in Utah. Well-done, Chez Betty! Only been once, and was wonderful. If you're looking for lots of food at a low price, this is NOT the place for you. You'll get exceptional food, in small portions, at extreme prices. Pros: Great Food more

Finally, FINE dining in Utah!! 7/14/2003

Planning a visit to Park City included lots of activities, but my previous visits resulted in dining disappointment. What a pleasant surprise to find Chez Betty!! It was before opening hours, we were browsing, met the chef, Jerry, cutting fresh herbs in the patio garden!! He escorted us in to make a reservation; it was start to finish, a memorable evening. The atmosphere was comfortable, the servers made us feel like family, each item presented was divine! We shall return! Pros: friendly, fresh veggies, great wines more

SUPERB 7/14/2003

Although this may not be one of the typical swanky Main Street locations where ambience is valued more than food, Chez Betty is by far the BEST restaurant in Park City. The food is beyond compare and I suspect that Chef Jerry Garcia will soon be gracing the cover of a well know food publication before long. Chez Betty is the kind of place that leaves your palate feeling overwhelmed if not altogether exhausted. This isn't a bad thing mind you... I've been to Chez Betty four times, each time ordering something new. Every dish has been a winner. Filet mignon, lamb shank, fish... all were superb. The presentation was creative. The staff has some of the most proficient wine experts in the state, and the wine list is extensive. Through and through, Chez Betty is solid... one of the most underrated restaurants in Utah; most likely in due part to being off the main strip in restaurant-rich Park City.
