Margaritas over food 11/15/2007

I prefer Chevy's for their margaritas over their food. This particular location is right in the middle of the Glendale shopping mecca at the corner of Brand and Broadway. The food is okay, don't get me wrong. It's always seemed fresh (except for the chips) and prepared well. My biggest problem here has been with the staff...and like all Chevy's the noise level. I'm never happy when I'm ignored and have to ask for more water...or when I can't hear the people at my table talk without yelling. more

A chain that does not suck 9/13/2004

Normally I HATE chain restaurants, but Chevy's has ALWAYS be consistant with: Great Salsa and Chips (They sell these to go by the way) Great drinks Nice Value Fun atmosphere Pros: The Salsa, The Salsa, Great price and Value more

Overrated and overpriced 7/22/2004

I'm not a big fan of Chevy's simply because I don't think their food is worth the high price. I much prefer Don Cuco's on Brand, near the Alex theater. The fajitas are better, the food is better overall, and the Margaritas are killer! (which at $6 each, they'd better be!) Don Cuco's is simply a better Tex-Mex place. One noteable difference between the two places is that Don's lighting is very subdued, whereas Chevy's is brightly lit. Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Margaritas more

This place rocks! The food was great, the service was polite and helpful, and the atmosphere was perfect. If you go, order the best tortillas around - freshly made there! more

Love Chevys 5/16/2002

I love the fajitas here, especially the steak. They use the most tender steak of any place I've been for the fajitas, and the tortillas are always fresh. The salsa is different (not as hot as others), but it is really good as well. I tend to go in on the weekends, and the bartenders are very friendly and poor solid drinks (including some HUGE margaritas). Big TV's in the bar always have the best games on, so this is a great place to grab some excellent food and margaritas while watching a big game. more

Margaritas to swim in... 5/15/2002

This place is GREAT! I love the service and the drinks rock. You must try one of their tasty margaritas. I've never had to wait to be seated, and if you want to just have a drink at the bar...there are always some interesting characters to chat with. This is an animated place to catch a game. more
