Great Place and Better People 4/8/2010

This has been my vet for 3 dogs and now a cat. Dr. Young and his staff have always been as professional as you can. They have gone above the call of the duty so many times I cant keep track. If I have a question, they do their best to answer it on the phone. If they can't over the phone, they will always find a way to fit in my little family member. Pros: Excellent Staff more

Trusted Vet and great staff 3/6/2010

I've been taking my pets to Dr Young for over 10 years. Seven years ago, when my 3 month old puppy became deathly ill, Dr Young saved his life. Although I moved out of the area 3 years ago, I still drive to Pickerington to take my two dogs to Dr Young. I trust Dr Young and his staff. They are like old friends. more

I would not recomment for a beloved pet 7/12/2009

Having moved to the area, we went to this vet due to location. Dr. Young was curt and cold. He did have a new grad working there, a female, who was great and we preferred her. Then when we needed to take one of our other animals to the vet again, she had left. But we went in.... the diagnosis was incorrect and put on antibiotics unnecessarily. We went to another vet in 3 days and our pet had blockages for urine and feces that had gotten so severe it required 3 procedures. If we hadn't taken him to another vet, our pet would not have survived. Pros: location and staff Cons: everything else more

Great customer service 3/25/2009

My old vet was abrasive, rude, and overly expensive. The customer service at Chevington was like night and day! Dr. Young is very calm-good for my skittish cat. He is absolutely a pro at giving shots. My cat didn't even seem to notice. I didn't have to wait long, and the price seemed very reasonable. Dr. Young even holds a patent for a surgical procedure! Wow! The place itself is modern and clean. The rest of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had already referred my family by the end of the day. Pros: Dr. holds a patent Cons: None that I found more
