Chesterfield Village

I have lived in these apartments for almost a year now and I will be leaving as soon as my lease is up. Let me break down for you how bad these apartments are. There are creepy crawly problems, if you are outside after a certain time you may get hit by a speeding police car or one of the other vehicles which speed down the mainroad after 12am. In fact you may even have a spotlight flashed on you for just walking from your car to your apartment at this hour. Needless to say this has happened to me twice since I moved in. The apartments have started a parking pass policy similar to that of a section 8 apartment complex (where the rent is based on income) where you and whatever guest you have must bring your information to the rental office (which is filled with the rudest people I have had to pay my hard earned money to I've ever had the displeasure of meeting) and have your guest approved by whoevers in the office. Not only that but you can only have one guest at a time. You can only have the one guest for a period of a week then you have to go back and reapply for a guest pass (what a pain in the you know what!). Not only that but apparently there will be gates that close after a certain time making the process of having a family get together or having more than one guest at a time even more difficult. The AC unit in my apartment has gone out 3 times since i've been here and each time i've been assured it's fixed for good or replaced with another unit. My car has been broken into once and nothing was taken. Now consider all this and the fact that if you ever need to speak to anyone about any of these problems the people in the office seem to wake up angry at the residents that pay their salary and allow them to keep working in this recession. I have had to write a letter on more than one occasion to the GSC corporation because I could not even conduct a civilized conversation with the people in the office. Truth be told there is only one or two people in the office who are lacking customer service skills but they are always there and ALWAYS extremely rude. I WOULD AVOID THESE APARTMENTS IF YOU WANT EVEN A TINY SLIVER OF PEACE OF MIND. YOU WON'T GET IT HERE!!!!! Pros: None really, I'm not exagerating! Okk all I have to say MY CAR GOT BROKEN INTO LAST WEEK A TOTAL OF 15 CAR.MY BACK WINDOW IS SHATTERED. OK HOW ABOUT 2 DEAD PEOPLE FOUND IN THE BACK OF MY APARTMENT. OR LET ME NOT FORGET ABOUT THE 2 WOMEN GET ASSAULTED A HOW ABOUT ANOTHER GIRL GET ASSAULTED ""ALL RECENT"". CRIME IS TERRIBLE. I WANT TO LEAVE NOW!!! OFFICE PEOPLE NOT VERY NICE WITH NASTY ATTIUDTE LIKE THEY BEEN ON THEIR PERIOD 4EVER, ESPECIAL THIS CERTAIN PERSON NOT TO NAME NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ACT LIKE WE DID SOMETHING TO THEM WHEN YOU TRY TO HAVE A CONVERSATION.THIS PLACE IS WORTHLESS. THE ARE CARELESS WHEN IT COMES TO HANDLING YOU RENT MONEY.SHOUT I WANT RENT FORM THEM AGAIN THE DEVIL IS LIAR!!!! more

I'm sorry this place is awful. The creatures are terrible tthe cubboards look like they are moving.The pipes broke they came in broke holes in the walls left them so water ran down on everything. When you try to call them to pay rent or other situations no one will pick up the phone. If you leave a message they will not return your call. The illegal imagrants are a terrible problem they are always standing outside harassing the women, noise is terrible. There is suppose to protection but there is not. As a whole it is awful, very unsafe. It might be cheaper then alot of places but as you can see its because you are livin down in the hood. Now as I write this I 'm not allowed to write the name of the crawly things that are everywhere. more

MOVING INTO MY APT. WAS THE FIRST SIGN I SHOULD OF NOT MOVED IN. DAY ONE NOTHING IN THE HOUSE YET, WALKED IN OPENED THE FIRST CLOSET THERE THEY WERE CRITTERS ALL OVER LIKE THEY HAD THERE OWN APT IN THE CLOSET. I FILLED OUT THE REQUEST FOR SERVICE AND IT WAS DONE 1-2 WEEKS PAST EVEN MORE CRITTERS MOVED IN BECAUSE SOMEONE MOVED OUT SO I GUESS I PICKED UP NEW TENENTS (MORE CRITTERS) MOVING FORWARD. THE STATE OF THE GYM THEY CLAIM LOOKS GOOD BUT GUESS WHAT NO BATHROOM??? Pros: GREAT LOCATION, NICE POOL, Cons: ENERING PREMISSES WITHOUT 24 HOUR NOTICE AND THREATS OF BREAKING LOCKS IF YOU CANT HEAR THEM KNOCKING TO GAIN ENTRY more

A good place to live! I'm in the section that's just been remodeled. The apartment is big, the managers are pretty nice, and the location is great. Also it's a really good deal for the money. Pros: Convenient location (near Chippenham & Powhite), roomy, 2 pools more
