I was in town on business and stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street. Needed a bite to eat but wanted to get out of the hotel, and Chesapeake's was the closest place. Having grown up on the East Coast, I am generally skeptical of seafood restaurants this far from the sea. So I ordered the filet and grilled shrimp, just to hedge my bets. The steak was juicy and flavorful, and they were very gracious about grilling it a little longer when it first arrived a little too rare for my taste (came back perfect). But the shrimp was a pleasant surprise. It was fresh and grilled perfectly. Wish I had gotten a seafood dish. Also the service was excellent. Darius S. was my waiter and he was very attentive (without being an annoying hoverer), took care of special requests promptly, and got everything right. The manager also checked in to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I very much enjoyed my meal, and will certainly make my way back to Chesapeake's any time I find myself in Knoxville.
Pros: Good food, excellent service
