I absolutely DO NOT recommend this lawyer for the following reason: I had received possible unethical treatment by my lawyer and felt there was no longer a trustworthy relationship with him. I called Chelsea Dickerson, Attorney and after explaining the situation I was told that I needed to inform my lawyer in writing that I no longer needed his services and that she would see me the next day and take on my divorce case. She requested that I bring a copy of the letter releasing my previous attorney plus a $2000.00 retainer fee. I live 2 hours from Overland Park and when I was halfway there, I received a phone call from Mrs. Dickerson. She stated she would not accept my case....because I lived too far away. In my opinion, this is unacceptable, irresponsible, and untrustworthy conduct. I don't appreciate her blatant disregard for my inconvenience and time, not to mention telling me to fire my lawyer and then not accepting my case. I would interview her carefully and thoroughly and keep my above review/complaint in mind if you are considering hiring her as your attorney.
