We went here for lunch on Sunday, because we had a coupon. The service was very prompt, and the food was excellent. I ordered a french dip sandwich, and it was one of the best I have ever had. The meat was very tender, instead of stringy or chewy as it seems to be in a lot of restaurants. The french fries were also very good and very fresh. I came into Cheffreys for the first time about 3-4 months ago. Since then I have organized my group of friends to do a Sunday Brunch every weekend. We are usually a crowd of 4-10 people. The owners Jeffrey and Marc always accommadate us and show professionalism mixed with a side of feistiness. I myself am addicted to the AMAZING chicken fried steak but have also tried the Eggs benedict with feta cheese, the sweet potatoe fries and the ""better than grandma's"" french toast. Of course the bottomless mimosa's are pretty fabulous also. :-) Pros: Great food, fun service...you get what you pay for...price might be a little more but its worth it! Cons: We only like to sit outside. We can be a louder crown and the inside is too sedate and a little quiet. :o) more

Even though I've lived in the area for years I never noticed this restaurant until last week. A neighbor and I decided to try it out and we were not dissapointed. The waitress was friendly and took the time to talk to us about the different dishes and made excellent recommendations. I had the pott roast while my friend had several appetizers, including a salad and macaroni and cheese, which she enjoyed. Aside from my mom's pott roast (of course) it was the best I've eaten. We both had a glass of wine and it was the biggest pour either of us has ever been served. She had the house Pinot and I had the house Cabernet; the Pinot was very good while the Cab was decent. I went back tonight for dinner and had the chicken alfredo which was also very good. I'm fairly picky about chicken alfredo and I don't order it often, but they do a good job. I had the Pinot this time and once again they were generous with the pour. I'm very happy to have an excellent restaurant in the neighborhood and look forward to going back soon. By the way, I know you don't spell pott roast with 2 t's but the software won't let me use just one because it says it's an inappropriate word! Pros: Good food and service. Cons: None more

I have eaten here a couple of times and have really enjoyed it. The food and service were excellent. I would highly recommend it. more

We and our friends have tried this place on several occasions for Dinner and Sunday Brunch. We not had a positive experience. We went there last Sunday to give them another try. Well, let me tell you everything was so bad we just had to laugh because thought we were being ""Punked"". We place our order and when the plates arrived they did not resemble what we had ordered. We finally learned after we waited 30 minutes that the omelet contents are pre-made and you can not make special orders. We had all asked for the tomatoes to be omitted from our omelets. All of the omelets came with tomatoes. At one point we asked our waiter what type of omelet one of our guest ended up with. He looked at it and said he would take it back to the kitchen and figure it out. Even the waiter could not identify the food. My meal never arrived. They attempted to give me a Spanish omelet that had tomatoes, but I had ordered the green chile omelet. Finally I told them that since they could not make a simple omelet to order, I did not want anything. more
