The first thing you notice when you walk in is the hospitality. You are greeted by the most friendliest people you will ever met. It is ran by a mother and daughter. Their speciality is soul food but they cook in a very healthy way. The use a lot of herbs versus salt and grease. The taste of their food is very distintive and the portion size for the money is absolutely terrific. Whether you are a first time visitor or a regular patron, they make you feel right at home and they meet no strangers. They talk to everyone as if they are family. It's kind of like the them song for Cheers ""Where everybody knows your name and their always glad you came"".
