It is hard to find a clasic sit down Chinese restaurant anymore. The decor is fantastic. The service is traditional. The food is on par with the best of NY and SF Chinatown restaurants. They do a good Peking duck, about as good as you can get in the South. They eagerly prepare special order and authentic dishes. They are the only restaurant to make a Korean dish called ""Ja Ja Meng"" and I highly recommend this. Their fresh fish is good and also recommended, but check to see what kind of sauce they will be using. I have never ordered something I did not like.
I believe Chef Lee's is one of the best locally owned and operated restaurants in town. I'm eating here more often now that they are nonsmoking.
