Always enjoy eating here. Usually have the mushroom or smoked salmon pizza, or the multi-vegetabled (asparagus, fennel etc) chopped salad at lunch. Particularly like the half-ch...

Nothing like it in the neighborhood - They have a new Chef now and the food has never been better. Had a new drink called ""pearls on ice"" - a black and blueberry ""soju"" drink - never had a buzz like that before! All in all still the same great vibe....worth a check-out if you haven't already. Are people fooled by the orange walls into thinking the food and service are good? Some sort of sensory overload? The food is not so hot. The service is even worse. Avoid avoid avoid. Feel like ordering an $11 breakfast burrito and getting treated like crud? Try CHEEBO! The food is bland and incredibly overpriced and the servers have severe attitude. Skip this place. i eat at cheebo ALL the time. it's one of my go-to lunch/dinner spots. so i was really confused when i read all of these negative reviews! yes, the service isn't top-notch, but no one has ever been rude to us. my bf and i were there one night and we waited for the valet guy for 10 minutes! the manager came out and appologized profusely before offering us some free drinks. i thought that was very appropriate. and i love the food! i swear they sprinkle pixie dust on their steak. i've also had a few pastas, salads, sandwiches and pizzas...and they've all been delicious! i've never had a bad meal at cheebo. so, before you write it off, maybe give it a second glance. Charming! 7/14/2006

I really love this place. The atmosphere is great inside. You feel like you're eating outdoors. The art on the walls is interesting and the bright orange and yellows inside the restaurant keep the mood light and fun. The last time I went, I had the Cheebo chop salad which was wonderful. My boyfriend had the ribs with sweet potatoes. The food is superb for the small price you pay. Overall, this place is very classy and charming without being overly expensive. Cheebo is a few step down from the crown jewel (Le Petit Four level and up) restaurants on Sunset. It doesn't have the elegant design or breadth of menu items, but it's also not terrible. If you're looking to save a few bucks and aren't too much of a critic (who isn't though?), you'll probably enjoy it. Just don't expect your server to go out of his/her way to make your night. Pros: Cheap eats Cons: Dark atmosphere, below average service more

great atmosphere with friendly service.... and as all the reviews say, the food was excellent. true, if i was at a stuffy, high end restaurant, i would have expected more proffessional service, but concidering the relaxed atmosphere, the service was in context with the room. more importantly, the food was great and arrived fast. more

Why is it when someone has a bad expierience they tell the world when its good they tell only their mother??? I saw a few negative reviews for this place but went anyway. I went with two italians and three food snobs and EVERYONE was delighted. The pastas were original (big portions might want to share) the salads tasty and the culotte was perfect. Need to work on the desserts, and it can get alittle loud for a large table. Really fun atmosphere and fantastic decor. This place is a real find. I also went one morning for a late breakfast and have decided it's my new favorite. Cheebo rocks. Pros: Good food, fair price, great atmospher more

Why is it when someone has a bad expierience they tell the world when its good they tell only their mother??? I saw a few negative reviews for this place but went anyway. I went with two italians and three food snobs and EVERYONE was delighted. The pastas were original (big portions might want to share) the salads tasty and the culotte was perfect. Need to work on the desserts, and it can get alittle loud for a large table. Really fun atmosphere and fantastic decor. This place is a real find. Horrible Service 4/10/2006

Service is probably the worst I've seen anywhere...the manager argued with us over a completely forgivable, fairly common mishap, turning the whole thing into a fiasco instead of just fixing the problem and moving on. We were treated with the such a negative attitude, it seemed as though everything is a problem and they couldn't be bothered. The food is good but not worth the faults of their service by any means. It is a little over priced for some things...I centainly wouldn't feature this place as a "cheap eats" or somewhere where customer service matters Pros: I love orange, food Cons: service, slow more
