Just got my car washed and I am in a very good mood. I don't know why this place always puts me in such a good mood?! I think it's because of the kind staff or probably the fact that my car is spotless or MAYBE and most likely because of the massage chairs. Either way im one happy camper! more

Ever since we moved to Irvine almost 3 years ago, we've been washing our cars here. They're friendly, and the wait is minimal. For the fast service, they do a thorough job. Their price is also great. They also offer various loyalty program and discounts. By far the best in town. We highly recommend Checkered Flag. more

I live in irvine and thought this would be a nice place to get my car detailed, but unfortunately I was wrong. The car already looked nice and new on the outside, but the inside needed some serious help. I had just purchased the car from a private seller and they didnt really keep it clean so it needed to be cleaned. After I paid their $80 fee, I went to go see how my car looked and it was the same! All that happened was they made the seats and floor wet with a stinky shampoo! There were spots I could have got rid of, just by taking a wash cloth to it, and they didn?t touch them. I was very upset, so I took it back and asked them to try again. Same story! Wet seats and floor, not looking 1% better from the first time they worked on it. I can?t believe these people are in business. Maybe I am only one this has had this experience with Checkered Flag, but how can you go there twice and get no results! So I took out my wash cloth and did a little scrubbing of my own and bamb! Spot was gone! I guess Im going to to have to scrub the car myself now. I wont ever go back to Checkerflag Hand Car Wash. I wish you best in getting your car cleaned! more

This is a convenient car wash I can go to during my lunch break. They do a great job and the wait time is very reasonable. If I take my car there on the weekends, I usually walk to the plaza next by to get some Starbucks or donuts. I like the way my car feels after they wash it. They are thorough and the staff is very friendly! I like how they have a customer loyalty program with stamp cards and you get a free wash on your birthday! more

I have used this place many times in the past and they have done a good job but in the last three visits they have broken things on different vehicles twice.... alot of people that work in the same department at my wife's work go here and they have had problems lately too. This car wash is the best. They are fast, friendly and good. They work hard to do a good job and they always have a lot of people working so your wait is very short. They have free Internet access inside the lobby, a nice selection of gifts and snacks inside and a big screen TV so you can catch up on your news or sports. more

I brought my Lexus RX350 here for a simple car wash after a rain. I was rather shocked to see an employee eating what looked like a burrito while cleaning the interior of my car. The employee also used compressed air to clean my interior, blowing dust behind the instrument panel which can never be removed. Other employees balanced themselves on my tires so they could clean and dry the top of the SUV and wash the front window. When I returned home I noticed a large scratch (3 inches long) on the top of my hood right next to the windshield which, needless to say, was not there before. If you take care of your car, do yourself a favor and find a reputable auto detailing shop which also offers hand washes or wash it yourself. Don't take it here. It does a very good job cleaning inside and out. I have tried so many different hand car wash places, and they don't do as great as Checkered Flag. I recommend any car lovers to try this place. more

There were multiple people working on my car at once. my car was done and fully cleaned in under 10 minutes which is incredible timing compared to all opther car washes. Their frequent visitor card is a definite bonus as are the early bird discounts, double stamp Wednesdays and coupons. As a side note, this is the best place to get funny greeting cards in the area. This is the only car wash I go to in Irvine. They are super-fast and super-friendly. They also have a fun gift shop with a large selection of cards, candy and other sundries. Best of all, they have a machine that makes FREE coffees, hot chocolates, lattes, etc. I also take advantage of their frequent visitor card, which gives you a free wash after it's stamped 9 times (with double stamps on Wednesdays)!
