We had a horrible experience with Chattanooga Pinball Co, My husband wanted to get me one of my favorite pinball machines for my birthday and Dale showed us a 1988 Taxi that he said he could make look ""fantastic"" and would play ""good as new"" It would only take two weeks. We kept calling and there was always ""something else"" that they had to do to the machine. When we went for inspection, there was NOTHING done to the cabinet. It looked exactly like it did before there was supposedly work done on it. His explanation was that his wife didn't want to mess up the paint. The play area plastics were broken, out of place, and the plunger was not working. He assured us that this would all be taken care of within a few days. We drove the hour and a half back home without anything. Two weeks later, we were assured all was well and my husband went back.. He knew it wasn't right, but he didn't want to disappoint me, so he came back with the pinball machine and a 120 day warranty. Within 5 days, one of the jet bumpers quit working. George came down two weeks later to fix it. It took him a long time and it worked halfway for another day. The next week, there was a heavy electrical smell coming out of the unit and it could no longer be used. We called Dale and he told us he would ""get to it"" when he could. That's when we called American Express and had them put a hold on the charges. \r

All I wanted was as working decent looking pinball machine I could be proud of. What we got was the runaround, yelled at, and then ripped off of a ramp that I had purchased to be put in the machine had they repaired it to our satisfaction. We were more than willing to go through with the deal but Dale hung up on my husband when he tried to explain that the hold on the charges was to protect us in the event it wasn't fixed. These are BAD people. Stay away unless you are protected and are sure of what you are getting.
