Editorial review from Citysearch 11/21/2015

I brought both my dogs here while I was home visiting my mom.\r \r My first visit was because my pup had pustules and I needed a refill. I called them to see if I could get a refill if my vet in Georgia faxed in a prescription. They informed me of the price, got all my info and said they could call me when it was ready. Hours later I got a call from them informing me that my vet did not fax it in yet. I called my vet and they said they sent it, overall it was a back and forth game but I finally got my prescription. I was impressed that even though my pup was not a regular patient at this clinic; they reached out to me to let me know they had not gotten the prescription. \r \r During my second visit, I brought my dogs in because one of them had worms in their stool. The technician and the vet were so helpful and friendly. They each took their time asking me questions, looking at my dogs and asked me questions about life. They were genuinely concerned about my dogs and interested in me. This was impressive because not only did they care about the health of my dogs but they wanted to get to know me as an individual. The entire staff that I encountered were all friendly and helpful. From the lady I spoke with about the prescription to the lady that checked me out. \r \r The prices here for the prescription and both dogs being seen was reasonable. I was expecting it to be much higher. \r \r I would highly recommend this clinic. If I have any problems again with my dogs when I'm home in MN, this is where I would bring them. \r \r **FYI, there business cards are also discount cards. You can get $20 off your first visit if you give it to them, they are by the registers. I didn't notice this until later after my first visit. more

Advice and Support 4/14/2010

We have been taking our two cats to Chaska Valley Veterinary Clinic for many years. We have been happy with them. When one of our cats was really sick, Dr. Gail Gieseke helped us tremendously with her advice and support. Fortunately, he fully recovered, and he is on a prescription diet now. more

My Vet for 13 years 9/3/2008

I have used this vet clinic ever since I first had dogs. I have had as many as 8 dogs at a given time and currently have 6. I love this clinic. I usually see Dr. Elsen and she is fantastic!! They remember my dogs by name and health issues. The follow up is wonderful. One of my dogs has many medical issues and I feel 100% comfortable with the advice of Dr. Elsen. My dogs love going there. They wag their tails and think it's a treat to be there. They try to get in the back so they can visit with everyone. I would highly recommend this clinic. My dogs with all the medical issues also requires specialty care at a specialty clinic and Dr. Elsen is always in communication with the doctor from the specialty clinic in regards to the status of my two dogs that go there. more

Caring Staff 5/19/2006

We are new to the area with our two cats and decided to go with this vet based upon a coworker's suggestion. The staff was very caring and knowledgeable. They had albums of thank you notes and Christmas cards received from their patients indicating the quality of their facility. We will definitely continue to go to them for our cats. The only downside is the lack of extended hours that we were used to in Maryland. PROS: Compassionate and knowledgeable staff. CONS: More expensive than vets we were used to on the east coast. more
