Amazing competition team 6/7/2010

The competition team in which my daughter belongs to is amazing. With US Olympic and World team members coming out of this program no other program in So Ca. comes close. My daughter is not going to be an Olympian but she loves all her coaches and team mates. By just being involved in the program my daughter has met and interacted with 4 different Olympians! She thinks her life is complete :-) Pros: No gymnastics team wins at this level Cons: The team members work many hours more

Great place 6/7/2010

I have enrolled both my son and daughter in the different types of programs they have over the last two years. They love it and their getting the fitness they need. Both have tried summer camp and wanted to attend all summer. Pros: Experianced and always safe with my kids Cons: no complaints more

Dont sent your athlete to Charter Oak 9/11/2009

This gym is losing athletes by the week. Beth and Steven boast of a training philosophy that they will get the best out of your athlete, but reality hits hard when they tell your kid they are fat,, faking injuries, or that they will ""never make it"". If you are a parent and are even slightly critical of the Raybeckis, they tell you to find a new gym. You can take your kid to a doctor and they will tell you the doctor is wrong.. its unbelievable. A once proud gym has sadly lost their level 10 optional team to other gyms where those girls have EXCELLED under better coaching. Beth and Steven Raybecki's response? Other gyms are ""stealing our girls"" which is funny comming from a guy whose wife (Beth) was officially sanctioned this year for trying to recruit gymnasts at THE NATIONALS! The glory days of Charter Oaks Gymnastics are gone. Pros: long pedigree of success Cons: Arrogance, disregard for safety, mind games more
