i agree with geostall. i lost my wifi modem and have talked to charter. i told them i had been to the maryville office and they told me they have new wifi modem at that location. so for the second time i drove up to the office for some girl sitting behind the window to tell me they do not have them there. i ask what the modems looked like in case i found it and she said she had no idea. so after 2 trips and an hour on the phone i have been left with no idea how to fix my problem and charter's people dont really give 2 craps about if. pay your bill or they will shut it off. as soon as my contract is up i will be going to direct tv more

Worst service anywhere, avoid if possible, customer service stinks 5/24/2008

I've been trying to contact the Maryville office to exchange my modem. The number is disconnected and the phone support said they were open till 2:00 P.M.. When I got there at 1:00 P.M., they were closed.it seems not even not even the main office knows what's going on. Right now I'm checking on DSL. Charter can always cantact you when they try to PUSH a new service or inform you of a rate hike but when you to contact an office convenient to your location, forget it. Pros: Seem to be less and less as time goes on. Cons: lousy local customer service. more

Avoid Charter 2/7/2008

The reason you can't get anyone is because ALL of their customer services numbers are answered by persons in Asia. Go with Direct TV. At least they are in the US more

Incorrect information 12/26/2007

Being that Charter is a Communication company you would think they would have a phone number that is not disconnected. It would be nice to know their hours of operation during the week. The number in the phone book is a different phone number and it is also disconnected. more
