After searching for several months for someone who really knows how to cut and style hair, Rachel at Charles Ifergan is the answer I have been looking for!! I have been going to Rachel for the past 2 years and she is a natural when it comes to shaping my fine, thin hair. It feels thick and looks very shiny by the end of every appointment - consistently. From the very first time I went to her she knew just what to do with my frizzy and unmanageable style and how to make it compliment the shape of my face. I am so grateful I have found a real professional! more

I like reading the other reviews about how amazing Rachel is because she really is. Not only do I still drive to Deerfield from the city for the past 5 years, but I have started to bring friends with because they also think she does an incredible job. I've been going to her for 12+ years...and I plan on going to her for another 12! more

Rachel is amazing, I have been going to her for years and she always has the best suggestions and ideas. I have never had a cut that I haven't LOVED! Rachel did the hair for my wedding and everyone looked amazing. My mother in law (who lives out of state) makes it a point now to see Rachel when she is in town! more

It's all about Rachel 3/30/2011

I love everything about the people at this salon. From reception and shampoo to check out, it feels like home. Linda is amazing with my color, and Vicki makes my shampoo feel like a massage. But it's really all about Rachel. I've been going to her for 13 years. When she's unavailable, I'm lost. She makes my very difficult hair look great and I've never had a bad cut. I can't say enough about how highly I recommend her. Everyone I've sent to her feels the same. more

Rachel is the one and only! 3/30/2011

I have been going to Rachel for over 12 years now. Even though I have moved into the city, I still make trips back to Deerfield to get my hair cut. I have tried the supposed best stylists in Chicago but they just don't compare to Rachel. I trust her and only her with my hair! more

I have been going to Rachel since I was in high school. My mother forced me to go to her for my prom haircut, and 12 yrs later I am still going there. I would reccomend Rachel to anyone looking for a great haircut. more

GERALDINE is the BEST!! 3/24/2011

I have been going to Geraldine since as long as I can remember! I was about 10 years old when my mom first discovered her. I am now 27 and have been a very happy customer since day one. I've tried other salons (not by choice!) and none of them seem to do my hair as well as Geri. She did my hair for my wedding, GORGEOUS!!! I still get compliments! She does my mom's, sister's, sister-in-law's, aunt's, cousin's, friend's hair and they all love her! She is very personable and outgoing, always a nice experience when I go get my hair done and I feel like a million bucks every time I leave! more

RACHEL the world's best hairdresser 3/23/2011

ONLY RACHEL can so beautifully cut and style my course thick hair. Even though I also reside in Colorado, and before that Arizona and Michigan, I travel back to Illinois just to have RACHEL work her magic. She was referred to me by my daughter years ago and I have proudly recommended her to my friends. She is more than an exceptional hairdresser-she is a beautiful young lady always so kind and generous with her time. more

I tried every hairdresser in the suburbs and city. All my friends called me a hair whore...welll I can tell you that I am a hair whore no more!!!!!!! Rachel is awesome, I get compliments on my hair all the time...she is by far the best. She is also lovely and sweet!!! more

Splendid 3/20/2011

I moved away from the Deerfield area some time ago, but I always make it a point to get my hair cut @ Charles Ifergan whenever I am in town visiting. Since I've moved from Deerfield, I haven't been able to find someone do remotely as good of a job as Rachel. Looking forward to my next trip to Deerfield, and my next haircut with Rachel!! I have gotten my hair cut at Ifergan for probably ten years now. I have never had a bad haircut and totally trust Rachel to keep my hair updated and looking great. I rarely have to say anything to her as I just sit and she cuts. I have always walked out feeling like my hair looks great. more

Rachel has cut my hair for 11 years and even completely changed the style once or twice. She is incredibly talented, pretty and fun to be with. I look forward to my haircuts and now my 19 year old son looks forward to his haircuts with Rachel too. I could not give this talented young woman a greater vote of confidence. She is wonderful. more

If you are looking for a new hair stylist, look no further. Rachel is one of the best, if the not the best in the area. My whole family has been going to her for quite some time. Next time you need your hair cut or styled, call and ask for an appointment with Rachel. more
