My daughter is in pageants and we buy dresses a few times a year.
This was my first time buying from Charima and i will NEVER buy there
again. I see why there is signs posted all over that says no refunds.
trust me there is a reason behind that. We purchased a Mori Lee dress
and had it taken up. Well when i went to pick up the dress for the 1st time.
the beading was messed up from them steaming it. The seamstress
fixed it within a few minutes and we had to leave. Well when i got home
and had more time to look over the dress that is when i seen it was not
done right. She did not add the beads that had fallen off. there was one
spot that she took up too much, and in the draping of the dress there was
3 areas that was unsewn. I brought the dress back and had to wait 1 hour
for the seamstress to get in. she looked at the dress and tried to say some
of the things was from the factory. well it was there closing time so i had
to come back the next day for a 4:00 app. to pick it up. i got there at 4 and
again the seamstress was almost a hour late and to find out that she did
nothing with the dress because she wanted to wait until my daughter had
it on to fix it. Well she did all the repairs and we were on our way.
When we got to the pageant i took the dress out of the bag and noticed that
what she repaired was unsewn again. i had to safety pin it up.
When my daughter got off the stage her strap that they had added to the dress
came unsewn also. So i called the manager of the shop and all he sad
was that is what happens at pageants. Bring it in and we will fix it again.
SO DONOT BUY A DRESS AT CHARISMA.
