This "management" company is nothing short of a racket. They charge homeowners $100 to simply refinance their home, when in fact all they do is answer one phone call from the title company to say your dues are current. Absolute criminality made legal, to anyone out there. The owner is more interested in lining her pockets than anything, and with her attitude about things, you're "lucky" you didn't get charged more.
I urge any HOA considering these criminals to beware of the unscrupulous dictates of this otherwise "legal" entity, compared to the other more reputable companies out there. I strongly recommend avoiding Chaparral Management Company at all costs!
