I was recommended to Champion by one of my friends who have been going there for years. I knew I needed a timing belt on my car so I went there. They recommended what they called a complete timing belt job that included my water pump and seals along with a new drive belt. The price was reasonable and the amount of time it took was great. When they had my car they found a bad tie rod and I had them change that also. I have found a new repair shop that treats me and my car the way I feel it should be. I will never use another repair shop again. The store manager Mark I think his name is was a very big help and took his time explaining to me everything they did. They even gave me a follow up call on the customer service and asked for a rating of 1 yo 10. I gave them an 11! more

Our new store manager John has over 20 years automotive experience and will treat you with honesty and integrity. I know that some of the past reviews state that unauthorized work has been done to vehicles then customers are forced to pay. I've gone to Champion a few times. The 1st was critical to me as my son and I were leaving for a ski trip and I broke a shock mount towards the end of the day. I drove right into Champion, and told him my situation . I thought we were screwed. However, they got me right in, welded it perfectly and had us rolling northbound in 30 minutes. A few days ago, I just called John at champion about my wife's van and I was fearing the worst. It was running like crap and eating through batteries. I had it towed there and John called me the next morning and told me that they warranty-replaced my battery and did a few draw tests and gave the results of the rest of his investigation. I got out of there that afternoon dirt cheap (compared to what I was expecting) and it runs better than it ever has. There's a real hometown feel to this outfit. I like them, and I will continue to use them in the future. more

They really do the best work out of everyone around. Meineke in Fuquay is a joke! They lie to you and tell you there are problems with your car that don't even exist just to get more money out of you. I went there a couple years ago when they first opened and refused to go back when they overcharged me. Then I found out about Champion, they are the only place I will go now. When I have gotten quotes from Meineke in the past it was wayyyyy more what Champion would do and they don't try to hose me. They also have a drop box which is very conveinant especially if you get off work in the late afternoon and can't make it there before they close. A+++++ job more

These guys definitely know what they're doing. They have always had my car done in a timely manner and they don't try to trick you into buying parts or jobs you don't really need. They are family oriented and even have a kid's play area in the lobby! Not to mention a TV to watch while you wait and an honest, reliable manager running the place. Nice job, Champion Auto! more

Will Never have Champion Auto work on my truck again! I have a 2000 ZR-2 S-10 pickup , the truck tempature gauge was past where it normally was. I carried my truck to Champion to get it checked out. I told the (Manger) that the thermostat was probally sticking. He responded being very (NICE) let us Diagnose the problem and we will give you a call. I said ok, this is at around 3:00 pm. NEVER got a phone call that day. The next morning I get a call around 9:00 am saying that my truck was fixed the balance of 93 dollars. When I got there the guy at the checkout tells me the balance again. I reply, so it was the thermostat. The guy replied yea it had a little trash in it we just cleaned it and put the old one back in. I WAS CHARGED 93 DOLLARS TO CLEAN MY OLD THERMOSTAT. SO UNLESS YOU WANT TO JUST PISS AWAY AN EXTRA 93 BUCKS I WOULD NEVER CARRY MY CAR OR TRUCK TO THIS AUTO SHOP!!!!!!!! Great service, quick, dependable, and not to expensive. This shop is great. Offers a ride when the work is gonna take a little time. I recently had my truck in their shop for my A/C. i had to work so i dropped off my truck and they gave me a ride to work. Once the work was done and i was off they picked me up. I was more then pleased with the work they did. I would recomened this shop to anybody for vehicle work. I will deffinetly be back for any other repairs on my vehicle. Was happy with the service at first. My blinker wasn't working and my headlights were out. Three days after I got it home the blinker stopped working. About a month after the repair the headlight went out again. When I went in I was told that they never really figured out the problem in the first place. Nice to know after paying over $200 to repair it. I was told they would call me later in the day to bring it in so I could get a ride home. I never heard back from them. I'm going back today to hopefully get this repair work corrected. When replacing my wire hireness for the lights they left the horn unplugged. I found that out when I took it in for an inspection. Needless to say, I am less than pleased and wouldn't go back but don't want to pay somebody else to correct their mistake. more

I needed the brake master cylinder and a starter relay replaced.\r \r These repairs were completed correctly, but under the hood the fuse box cover was left hanging open, the positive battery terminal was replaced in a way that the rubber cover that prevents accidental grounding couldn't be placed on the terminal, and they charged me $15 plus labor for a battery tie-down and didn't actually connect it to the battery box. It was just left flopping on top of the battery. I had to correct these things myself. more

We've taken both our Saturn and our Mazda Minivan to this auto repair station. They have great little perks, like they'll let you drop vehicle before hours with a key drop off slot, and they had no problem with us having a dog (yes) in the waiting room in bad weather. I had some problem with break repairs on the Saturn where we had to take them back more than once, and although I don't know much about breaks, felt like almost loosing break usage on the road and having to put in break fluid myself before getting it back to them was above and beyond especially when I paid almost $400 for the repairs. It may have been a miscommunication, but I doubt it. I started looking for a new auto repair place after this trip. Other repairs were fine. Cost of repairs seemed to be a bit high.
