I have no complaints about Chambers, but I also don't mind fixing things on my own (my doorknob broke, but they're cheap enough) so I haven't had reason to contact them. They've left me alone too, except when it came time to renew my lease; they are not overly friendly, but it's a professional relationship so I don't mind. That's generally how I think landlord-tenant relationships should be: just leave me alone, and I'm happy. Based on my limited interactions with them, I would say that if you're looking for someone to hold your hand whenever you have a problem, Chambers probably isn't the management company for you, and I don't say that comment flippantly. \r

As for the apartment, it's in pretty good shape, the only exception being the aforementioned doorknob. The property is always well-kept in the spring and fall (not around during summer), and they plow the driveway well enough during the winter. \r

Overall, I'd say if you're a low maintenance tenant who enjoys your privacy, Chambers is fine. If you like a dialogue with your landlord -- and I've known some people who do -- look elsewhere.
