Best

Great service and Great Price! Everyone there is super friendly and professional! Very nice and clean place to relax! Best Massage in Town Driving down Burbank and decided to try ...

Worst

Went in today for a 15 min "quickie" on my 30min lunch and came out needing my chiropractor, they normally put you in a private room where you can lay down, this time I was put in...

If you really need a massage to "work" it out... 10/19/2010

Walked in without an appointment. They assigned someone to me right away--no wait involved. This charming little Thai massage studio sits in the back of an unassuming strip mall...don't be fooled! It may look like no frills from the outside (only adding to its charm) but once inside the doors... the world melts away. The soothing and beautiful atmosphere accentuates the best massage I've ever had, and I've had many. I do believe the Thai technique is far superior and consider myself converted. The Thai style seems to involve a wider variety of moves to work out the tension in your hips and spine. Though I was sore the day after, the massage was effective. This isn't a hoity-toity day spa. The massage I had here was as good as a far more expensive one offered at the Bliss spa chain. You come out feeling re-energized, stretched out, de-stressed, de-toxed...downright deeeelightful! And the overall comfort factor, decor-wise, is better than that of other budget places with which I'm familiar. more

Ahhhhh, another magical massage at Chaba 6/27/2010

For the price, this place actually gets 5 stars - IT ROCKS! However, place note that my 5 stars is taking price into consideration. If you want a big sauna/jacuzzi, etc, this is not the place for you. They do have a wonderful massage and classy small clean room. I had a 90 min massage at the Chaba Thai Spa today and it was a very positive experience. My therapist was very professional and used amazing techniques and the perfect amount of pressure. She was very in tune with my needs and focused on my concern areas. She chatted with me at points during the session but only when I initiated it. My day began by arriving 15 minutes early. I filled out my paperwork and the friendly receptionist walked me to the room. After 90 minutes of bliss. I enjoyed the flavored of thai icetea and snack. For one person going by him/herself, i think this place is the best! Clean, easy parking, friendly, efficient... Parking availability, asthetically pleasing establishment, high quality massage therapists with private rooms. more

Always An Amazing Experience.. 6/17/2010

I have been a client here for over 1 year. I have come to Chaba many times and everytime is just as wonderful as the first. I have also been to different spa's in the L.A and around the World, none of them compare to the warmness Chaba brings. The services are wonderful The massage here is the best!! Those girls really enjoy what their jobs, it show's in the energy they express..you just can't fake that. If you've never been to Chaba, believe me its worth every penny. If you've been to Chaba and maybe not had quite the wonderful experience, you should give it another try. Everybody is due a off day, however, I'm not sure that happens at Chaba!! Thanks girls for always making my experience so wonderful..You ladies truly have a gift . Pros: great customer service Cons: Better to make appointment in advance more

Chaba was the best Thai spa experience I ever had. 6/16/2010

I LOVE this place!! Chaba definitely has the best Thai massages in the area. The place is super cute-- kind of countryside in thailand/exotic chic, clean, and while still giving each customer privacy. I've had different masseuses (is that what you call them?) each time and they've all been amazing. They know exactly where you need extra attention and work out EVERY knot you have. Every time I leave here, I always sit in my car for a few minutes savoring the floating feeling of my body before finally driving away-- yes, it's really that good!from the beginning and the small plate of fruit and tea after each session are nice bonuses as well. While I've gotten the thai, swedish massage here, my friend tried the deep tissue as well and enjoyed it, although she agrees that the main attraction is the combo massage. Be warmed though, if this is your first time getting a thai combo massage, it can be very, very painful. There were definitely times I was holding back screams when the masseuse attacked my upper back, but it's totally worth it in the end. These people know what they're doing! Cons: no more

Massages here are ahhhh-mazing! 6/16/2010

Wow oh wow....what can I say? Thanks citysearch reviewers....my first time to this place today and boy, talk about getting knots out of back/shoulders. The massage I had was great and parking was easy. For the price you pay for the massage, it's definitely worth it. I had Tan who was recommended and so I went with it, and definitely will be going back. From the time you walk in to the time you walk out, it's such a positive experience. They offer you chocolate truffle, fruit an thai icetea, coffee, organic hot tea drink depending on what mood you want to be in when your experience is over. After my 90-minute massage, I was lead to waiting area is a bit smaller, everything is nicely decorated, the people are friendly, and they don't rush on you. So if you're planning on having a relaxing experience without the stuffiness, then this is the place to go. If you get facial here They even do some massage on neck, back, and arms so if you can't do massage, don't worry. At least half of you will feel relaxed. I would like to mention that they have VIP mailing list so make sure you join their mailing list. Pros: The environment was also superb - uber trendy and serene. Cons: Love it! Everyone should go! more

I attained Nirvana at Chaba!! 5/11/2010

Best massage I've ever had in my entire life! It looks like a hole in the wall but when you step inside, you're at peace. I highly recommend the deep tissue massage. I have chronic back pain and the deep tissue massage at Chaba is the ONLY thing that relieves my pain and keeps me symptom free for over 2 months!! Amazing amazing amazing! And the fact that they have the lowest prices makes it easy to keep going back. Seriously, if you want the most relaxing AND effective massage, go to Chaba! more

This place is Awesome!!!! 2/24/2010

Absolutely the best place for a best massage!! Plus they open late which is good if you had to work over time and am now pissed and need a massage to wind down. (I don't know about their other services - I've only been here for massages.) Don't judge the little ladies by their size because they can really dig into all the painful knots in muscle groups you never even know you had. Definitely not only for people who think massages are about "relaxing." Definitely for those who think massages are for ironing out painful knots in your back and cracking some bones into place ;-) The place is clean, professional and nicely decorated especially for the price you are paying. It's not a hoity toity spa, but its not bare basic ghetto either. It's somewhere in the middle. Don't get freaked out by the way it looks on the outside, the inside is nice. We go twice a month when we can get the time for a footrub. The full body massage is also well worth the price. The people are friendly and accommodating -- this is my favorite cheap getaway spot when the stress gets to be too much! They offer thai icetea at the end and a cozy spot.. more

If you are looking for a relaxing but effective massage 2/21/2010

In the past when I have gotten massages I have ended up getting more westernized massages... usually swedish or deep tissue. This Thai combo massage was an excellent change! My best friend and I decided to get their 90 minute massage and it was by far the best massages we have ever had. Just like everyone else, Jasmine asked in the beginning whether or not I would like the massage to be soft, medium or hard. I asked for medium/hard, and it was definitely hard enough. In the past I have had trouble with masseus'(sp?) not being hard enough, but if anything it was too hard (which is a nice change)! The way that Jasmine contorted my body and walked on my back took out every ache and pain conceivable. I felt very refreshed afterwards Well worth the price!! more

CHABA !!I really like this place.. 2/21/2010

The reason I love them is twofold: 1) I have had excellent massages 2) The front desk is friendly and knowledgeable. I really like this one therapist (no I am NOT telling you because I'll never be able to get an appt with her again!) but she is frequently booked. The girl at the front said, well, if you like her, maybe you should try ******. Sure enough, very similar styles and equal results. The place is clean and well kept. The massage I received from this glorious place was truly extraordinary. I had an amazing therapist who seemed to read my mind. Best face/head massage ever (this is one of my favorite places to be massaged and they STARTED with it!) This was probably one of the best massages I've received in my life. And all this without the pish-posh "spa" atmosphere. No, I don't want to take an unnecessary shower in your huge, scary, cold shower room. I don't want to put on your robe. Really. I just want to feel good. Chaba totally delivered. I'll definitely be going back. completely worth it. The ambience is really nice and relaxing. They have private rooms where they do their work, and free cappucino and thai icetea in the lobby. So delicious. My therapist is very kind and understanding and thoroughly knowledgable. more

Hurts so good! 1/23/2010

Overall, my first Thai-style massage at Chaba was awesome.  It was clean, inexpensive, and semi-relaxing (hello, I know it hurts, but please keep your grunting to a minimum).  Thank you Citysearch for introducing me to CHABA..I don't think I'll be going back to those boujie joints for a massage! now I know why Chaba got voted for best massage. Hands down.  No contest.  ??After my class this morning (yay for Hollywood Aerial Arts!), everything in my upper body needed a little TLC.   The place was clean and calming, and everyone there was super friendly.    I was escorted to a private room and shown a pair of short to put on.   Sophia, my masseuse, asked a few questions and then she set to work.  Having never experienced a Thai-style massage I didn't know what to expect.  But after a few minutes my sore shoulders felt like putty and I was silently thanking my fellow for turning me on to yet another amazing find.   The massage was deep enough to release muscle tension, but not enough to inflict pain.   Just remember to breathe through the stretches and pressure.  It hurts more if you hold your breath!   ? Luckily the massage was so damn good that I was blissed out and didn't really mind.   Just be sure to enter the place with a low voice.  The peeps in the treatment rooms will surely appreciate it. Pros: This was the best massage I've ever had. more

This place is amazing!! 1/21/2010

Work out....and get a massage at CHABA!!!!  OH YES they're so good and reliable, that I work them into whatever daily/weekly/hourly routine I can think of.  The "Supercuts" of Massage - but BETTER!  I have all out-of-town visitors stop by during their stay - at their price point , and for that quality - it's one of my fave things about Burbank!  ?? Lisa, their owner, has always run a very clean and professional business - since Day 1!  She hand picks each massage therapist, and knows what she's doing, because she herself is an CMT (and an amazing one at that!)!  Fave therapists include:  Jessica,Mimi, Kathy , Jasmin. They are unbelievable. The only trick is finding a massage therapist that you like.  They have a whole range of people who practice different styles, so you want to ask for a particular style, try a couple of people, and if you find one you like, know their schedule and always book with them! For a Swedish, I see Jessica or Amy who is trained in Wat Po and both are great and has smooth hands.Sophia or Jasminis excellent for the REAL Deep Tissue Massage. more

Freindly little spa. 1/20/2010

I just moved to LA from the Bay Area and CHABA is the best thing that has happened so far. After the big move, my body was a wreck. I went in to CHABA feeling like ten bucks and left feeling like a million. At Chaba combo has an easygoing manner, broad hands, and a perfect mix of gentle and deep massage techniques. I have a past back injury, and so am picky about massage. I will definitely go back to Chaba and I heartily recommend them. CHABA does massage friendly little spa. They do have a private room with a massage table. This may put some people off but honestly you will forget about your surroundings the minute They starts to work their magic. UPDATE: I have now been going to Chaba twice a month for 6 months. They are still awesome. more

My new Spa!! 11/25/2009

I received an combo massage session from Jasmine and it was the BEST - she is definitely a magician! I was having a back spasm and had restricted mobility for about a week - at its worst I had difficulty putting on my shoes. I went in to see Jasmine after hearing about her from a good friend and she quickly assessed my "pain pattern" as she called it and found the source of the pain. She then did deep tissue on my legs, hands and painful areas of my back. I began to feel a difference almost immediately. began to massage the rest of the pain away - This was the best massage I ever had - every back muscle was tenderized and softened. She finished with some pain-relief cream and I walked out of there sore but feeling much better. I couldn't believe it. Jasmine is the best massage therapist. more

The Best 4 hands massage :)) 11/22/2009

I love this place! I used to go to a very fancy, very expensive salon, also in Beverly Hills. So when I first walked into Chaba I was less than impressed by the small wait room. But these ladies are EXPERTS! They are incredibly fast, gentle, friendly and thorough! ? I just had a 4 hands massage with Jessica & Gigi!  amazing!!  the spa is little and quiet with private room.   highly recommend this spa!  and can't be beat for the price!  they do facials too! i've tried other high-end massage places, and this is by far the best place i have still ever gone to. ask for Jessica -- she's incredible with swedish massage! Pros: Awesome more

Brooklyn's Best Therapist - Heart & Soul 11/22/2009

This place was great! My massage therapist, Sophia, read over my intake form and we discussed my issues before she started working on me, and I thought that was very nice. ( She didn't act like some other massage therapists who just want the money and don't focus on the clients needs). I had my massage and she worked on all the knots I had, and she even suggested I try some things to ease my pain and tightness. Sophia used pressure, but for once I am not in pain the day after a massage and my body feels different! I was very pleased with Chaba Spa and I will be returning to try other treatments next week. I no longer have to travel to many places looking for a good massage since I found this hidden gem in Burbank!! Pros: miraculous massage Cons: Great staff and terrific massages and foot scrubs more

Magic Hands!!!! 11/22/2009

The atmosphere was so tranquil and serene. I really enjoyed my massage therapist Amy . When I first got to my appointment he greeted me with a wonderfully big and comforting smile. She was attentive to all of my needs as well as insecurities. I walked in a walking knot, I left still drooling from relaxation. If anyone is looking for Burbank professionalism, Burbank prices and skillful touch go to Chaba Spa. I am very picky about trying out new therapists, but I am happy I went to Chaba Spa!! I was greeted by Lisa (another therpaist) and she was very friendly. Amy gave me the best combination massage. It was wonderful :-) Pros: everything Friendly staff, reasonable more

FAB-U-LOUS 11/22/2009

This place is great! Wonderful service and the prices definitely made this place the only place where I get my regular massages. I have recommended this place to countless friends. If you are looking for a great massage for a reasonable price, this is most certainly the place for you. This place was great! I came in barely being able to walk after a flare up in my lower back from surgery I had a year ago. I didn't really expect a massage was gonna do much for me, but Jasmine was up for the job. She gave me an incredible 90 minute deep tissue massage and really worked hard to get me feeling better. I woke up the following day and couldn't believe that my pain was 80% gone. Jasmine is truly a healer and I look forward to going back many times in the future. This is a great find! Pros:  Quality of massage, price, staff, open late Cons:  Not enough time in a day to get more massages more

Best Massage :) 11/22/2009

I had a massage here over the weekend and from walking in to leaving it was a great experience. As you enter the spa you walk through a lobby which is a serene setting, that made me feel like Thailand and makes you feel relaxed right away. Then you are greeted by a great staff and then the real spa experince begins. I had a deep tissue massage and it was the best massage I have had in awhile. I will come back to Chaba for sure. I already made an appointment to visit when my mom and sister come in town to visit. Pros: Great Spa! Cons: Best service and overall best spa experience! more

MY FAVORITE SPA! 11/22/2009

Im really shocked by the bad reviews! I have never had one complaint. Their friendly staff and great prices make it hard to go anywhere else. I have been going to Chaba for almost two years now, so i was also shocked to read the negitive reviews about the spa. I use to have problems with my lower back. The staff at Chaba are so nice and knowledgeable for massage. I love all kind of massage here. The killer combo for 2 hours is the best that I usually get. All Therapist are very freindly and manager is pretty. She always make sure that I got the best massage everytime I visit. Cons: The best killer combo massage. more

one of the best massage I have ever encountered. 11/18/2009

This is a great place and I will definitely refer/go back. I love this place! I used to go to a very fancy, very expensive salon, also in Beverly Hills. So when I first walked into CHABA I was less than impressed by the small. But these ladies are EXPERTS! They are incredibly fast, gentle, friendly and thorough! Amazing place! Amy and Jasmine are so sweet, the location is perfect, and you cannot beat this price:) with the quality massage. The women who work here are so caring but really fun at the same time. I love that I can make an apt same day and get all my massage and body scrub taken care! Pros: Super relaxing, high quality, and professional Cons: Great Massage+ Best Price for Affordability more
