Greatest salon in town! I get my hair cut by Jason Glass every 2-3 weeks and he always does a wonderful job. The shop's overall atmosphere is very humble and beyond welcoming! The staff are always welcoming and very personable, each visit is like walking into a salon full of great friends! I recommend this place to everyone! more

Found this place through a friend. I had not had my hair done since my last disaster here in town. I was referred to Jason and I could not be happier. First. He actually listened to what I had to say. Second. He actually did what he said he was going to do! My color is shiny and my cut was perfect. I love the atmosphere at Cha Cha's. I dig that they embrace the old beauty shops of glamorous Hollywood...they decor is very cool! They also embrace top notch customer service!! I am always greeted as soon as I walk in and appreciate that I am not kept waiting...they value your time! I also appreciate that my stylist isn't talking to other people while doing my hair but is focused on me and my hair. The atmosphere of the salon is fun, yet, very professional! I'm always pleased with my service and feel that the team there goes out of there way to always make each experience like it's your first. My stylist is Jason and he is one of the few stylists I've ever met that truly knows how to cut and style short, funky, fun hair!! If you want a great salon experience and top notch customer service, then I recommend you give Cha Cha's a try. more

I am leaving the city soon and while I'm excited, one of the downsides is that I cannot take Cha Cha's with me. I will miss the people who work there and I will miss the amazing services they provided me for the past 2 and a half years. Dude's hair can be tricky; you dont want to look like you paid 5 bucks for a chopjob but you also dont want to look like some sort of wannabee fashion icon who spends an hour getting his hair ready every morning. They understand that here, and constantly deliver top quality men's cuts that are masculine, easy, and stylish. Jason is big into old school barbering and loves giving classic masculine looks, and both Jason and Cha Cha have cut my hair and I have never had a single complaint. They offer great suggestions and really try to understand what sort of thing you are going for before they get started. The place has a comfortable atmosphere, they play great music, everyone in there is nice and welcoming, and you're sure to come out looking and feeling good. I recommend this place to any guy looking to change things up and who wants to have an experience with a group of professionals that really do love their trade, and their customers. more

I had given up hope finding a stylist here in Lexington. I went to three different places in 4 months. I understand that my fine frizzy hair is difficult to tame but give me a break. I could get decent haircuts in other places I lived. Brenda, from work, gave me Jason's card. Her hair always looked so healthy and has a beautiful shine. I never thought my hair could look as good as her's because of our different hair textures and she was blonde and I am a brunette. Well let me say, ""I am a believer!"" From my first call to the shop, to checking out and paying, it was a delight. I called three weeks ago and Jason's calendar was full. I asked the receptionist if I could be put on his waiting list and she did. To my shock, she called me back and said Jason had a cancellation for the following week. After a lengthy discussion about my hair, Jason went to work. He explained that I did not need the same color on the roots of my hair as I did on the ends. ""Whatever, mister. Just fix this mess."" I said to myself. Two hours later I was staring in the mirror at the best cut and color I have ever had! My hair feels healthier in just one visit. He kept my hair longer (I am horrible with a round brush) but I can actually style it - AND IT STAYS! If you are looking for a new place, and you are full of doubts. Go here. I officially have faith in hair salons again. Well, maybe just Cha Cha's. more

First things first: The shop is super cute and clean. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I did not feel intimidated at all. Everyone was friendly and treated me like they were glad I was there and that they appreciated it. Maggie is tiny little thing with the hippest style. We hit it off immediately. We took my super blonde hair back to a darker blonde, and I was scared to death. Maggie reassured me and by the time I was getting my hair cut I was confident in her and my decision to try Cha Cha's. I have never had so compliments. <3 Cha Cha's! more

Ok. I am 32 and every haircut and color I have had in the past three years makes me look like I am in grade school or my mother. I wanted something ""trendy"" but appropriate for me. Jason nailed it! First, he added depth and shine to my ultra -blonde hair, (It had gotten out of hand. Way too light.) Second, he added these fantastic bangs, Two huge moves in one appointment, and it was the best experience I have ever had. I was so nervous I could not get back in (he is booked out a few weeks) that I booked my next two visits before I left. more

This is a great find. The salon is super cute and very clean. My cut was exactly like I wanted and my brows were shaped up perfectly. Jason did my hair and Maggie did my brows. It took me a few weeks to get in, but it was well worth the wait. I am very glad I went, and I have scheduled my next appointment already. more

I have looked for over a year for a good salon. I finally found it! I have been to Planet Salon, Posh, Alure, everywhere! My color was brassy,or dull, my cut looked like something from five years ago, or the salon was just dirty. Cha Cha's is a little shop in Chevy Chase. (I think they have seven stylists) It is warm, friendly and super cute. It looks like an old barber shop. I called to make an appointment. It took me three weeks to get in, but a waited. My appointment was with Jason. He greeted me with a smile (on time) and we talked about my cut and color for 15 minutes before he did anything. I have had some horrible experiences so I was VERY nervous. more

I have lived here 12 yrs. now and have tried many salons in Lexington. I could write a book about how many bad experiences I have had here, but I won't. I just want to say how truly happy I've been since meeting Charlene. She is just naturally talented! In the 4 years she has done my hair, I have always left feeling wonderful. The cut and color is always fantastic. I trust her like no other. On top of getting great hair consistently, the vibe in the salon is like getting together with friends because everyone is so fun and cool. My husband and kids go there and are also very happy. She also runs a tight ship. No sitting for 30 minutes once you've arrived on time! Another plus is their hospitality. They offer you drinks and want to make you comfortable. Their little dog is there too and it feels like family but the family you actually like. You know what I mean...So look no further in Lexington; you will love this place. I am truly blessed to have the most amazing stylist in town. If she moves to Timbuktu, I will follow!!!! more

I moved here 2 years ago, I was making special trips all the way to Lousville because I was too scared to try someone here. I live near Cha Cha's and said I would give it one try. I got an appointment with Jason, the best hair cut that I have ever had. He is blunt that's why I love him. If you want something he will listen, but he knows what he's doing, and if it's not approprate he will let you know. I have been at least ten times and have never been happier. Once you try him, you will never want another hair stylist again. more

I began the process of finding a new stylist late last summer after becoming dissatisfied with the lady who had done my hair for more than 8 years. I loved how my hair looked but grew tired of her limited availabiltiy and always running behind. From that point until today it has been hair trauma. First to Posh with high expectations that were not met, then on to Hair and Now which was even worse. I have never cut my own hair, but after my last appointment at Hair and Now came home and attempted to even up just the hair around my face. My hair had never looked worse. more

I've lived in Lexington for twelve years, and in that time I've spent countless money and hours in nearly every salon. I don't dare calculate the amount spent on half-hearted cuts and styles from indifferent stylists who took little to no time for a consultation prior to working on my hair. I had nearly given up on ever finding a stylist I'd see more than one or two times. Finally, I came to Cha Cha's. My hair hasn't looked or felt this great in years! Zac truly has a gift, and on top of that he is hilarious--in fact, every member of the staff I've met at Cha Cha's is hilarious and the atmosphere is so open and friendly. There's a really great vibe I've never found at any other salon. Everytime I go I feel completely comfortable knowing I'm in great hands, and you can't beat the furry little welcoming committee; the little dog is adorable! I'm also familiar with Maggie--Cha Cha's latest stylist--and I think she's a wonderful addition to the team. I really feel like I can't say enough about this place or the people who run it. I leave every time feeling like a million dollars. more
