Certified Transmission 75th And Pacific

I brought my 1989 Ford Bronco II in to have the drive shaft replaced. I bought into the bs the better business bureau put out for these guys & unfortunately took my Bronco there. They put the drive shaft in & the following week. I took it out on the road & the vehicle shook violently after I got up to 40mph. I took it back to them & complained to mr. FINK personally. He got real rude! He told me that they wouldn't correct the problem & when I started to argue with him about backing their work, I suddenly found myself surrounded by 6 or 7 of his employees. They threatened to ""kick the hell out of me"". Having a bunch of guys circling you & smacking their fists into the palm of their other hand is threatening, obviously, so I got the hint & left before they did to me what they threatened to do. I took my Bronco to another outfit & they were able to fix the problem immediately--certified transmissions put the damned drive shaft in BACKWARDS!!! I not only will never let them work on anything I own, but I will NEVER trust in the Better Business Bureau again! more

I had my transmission replaced here and Dave (the manager) was awesome at customer service until... my transmission needed to be replaced again less than a week later. He let me know that it was now in the hands of their warranty rep (Jim Stokes). Jim was rude and nasty on the phone with both myself and my husband. He was completley unsimpathetic and even threatening. So, beware if you do have any further problems with your truck you might have to deal with Jim. Cons: Their warranty company has a bad rep (Jim) more
