OUTRAGEOUS HEATING BILLS!!!!!! Whenever someone in your section of home moves out and is vacant, they split the cost of the heat for that place amongst the other tenants. My husband works with the former leasing agent. Whenever someone moves out they switch a button and then it goes on your bill. We keep our heat 68-70 all winter. We had a bill as high as $292.00 last winter!!!!! Expect to pay over 200 bucks for heat in January, February and March. The gas goes through a third party and there are very fishy charges on your bill! If you are non-smoker..STAY AWAY!!! Our house smells of stale smoke...and 50% of the time fresh smoke because it pours through the vents and out from under the sink. If you are lucky to have neighbors who don't smoke, you wont have this problem. But we can't even open our windows in the summer and spring and fall because our neighbors are blowing second-hand smoke in our windows! Aside from all of this stuff, we really like the lay-out. THe last person who said that the balcony isn't safe..IS RIGHT!! Our second floor sinks in the middle as well. They keep having to replace our bathroom tile becuase it keep cracking because of the faulty flooring. They don't fix it, they just come in and replace the tile...a month later..back again!. We are currently waiting for a new dishwasher because ours is broken. We have now waited 4 weeks..and no sign. We've called twice and politely asked when we were going to get our new dishwasher. NO reply...not even one to say we've recieved your call. Yeah, the rent might be acceptable, but the heating makes up for it. Better to go witha more expensive newer place to garrantee the cheaper heating bill. Overall...we wish we didn't live here!!!! Oh yeah and if you need maintanance to come, they knock once and if you don't answer, they'll just come in. So if your showering and don't answer the door, beware, you might have a maintenance man greeting you in your towel!
Pros: nice lay-out
Cons: high heating bills, smoking neighbors, faulty flooring
