Central Market Cafe

This is the ultimate grocery store, carrying every kind of food you could ever want, but selling mostly organic, imported, and specialty foods. Here you can find French cheeses, vegetables still on the stem, soft drinks from all over the world, and more fun things like that. They have a large selection of pre-prepared foods like cakes and other pastries, as well as a wide variety of wines. A restaurant is available in case you get hungry while you shop. Of course, the big drawback is that none of this comes without a cost, and groceries here are fairly expensive. I would strongly recommend this store if you desire ingredients hard to find in standard grocery stores, and as far as "ethnic" foods go I would try ethnic markets first. Still, this is a great place to have it all at once, and it's a lot of fun to shop in. more

Central Market is a "food store," not a supermarket. At the heart of Central Market is an extraordinary variety high-quality food items that will make any food lover salivate. Their wide variety of produce is always fresh, and there are always "foodies" around if you have questions or want a taste. The meat department has real butchers willing and able to trim and tie tenderloins, french a rack of lamb, or whatever else you might need. Many items normally processed in a centralized factory (chicken, ground meat, etc) are all done on-site. While Central Market doesn't carry many staples like "regular" soft drinks, paper goods, cleaning supplies, and other items you might find at a local supermarket, most grocery stores don't carry such a wide variety of specialty foods. more

This is a store that I love to visit. I always spend plenty of time looking at everything. Don't want to miss anything. They have international foods, so there is always new and weird foods to try. They also have a large assortment of vitamins, herbs, and natural products. There's books to study your interest, and a deli where there's good food to eat. more

expensive- central market While I like the atmosphere of central market it is not some where i would shop regularly simple put you pay for the hard to find items but it you want a different shopping experience you must shop here at least once. aunique shopping experience more
