First off, I want to say that I have never been so thankful of a business than today. I had septic tank pumped out in feb 2013 by this company. I had a blockage again from my main pipe today dec 2013. Looking for phone number for company I came upon these reviews. Immediately I grew concerned that I had been ripped off and taken...because of the few reviews and the words they used, that I saw here. These reviews couldn't be farther from the truth. Mike came to my house and fixed my problem in a very courteous and professional manner. He was patient and kind towards my frustration about my system. This man did something for me, and he knows what it is, but he did something over and above what a normal business would do and a customer could even pray for. As I was in tears over the issues with my tank, he corrected the problem and left. I cannot say how grateful and thankful I am for his kind gesture. God saw it and He will remember it. If you are looking for a good company, that you can trust, call mike at central florida septic. more

We had Central Fla Septic Inc. come and service our septic tank in 07/15/2012 because our toilets were backed up. The first time they came out, supposedly they put in a new pump and some chemicals (which the bottles weren't even sealed) and charged us $975, which we paid complete with cash same day. Next day we notice that our front yard is flooded with water, come to find out they had broken a pipe. Our most recent complaint was in June 2013. Our water was backing up again, so we called Central Fla Septic to come out and take a look at the problem since it hadn't even been a year since they came to install a new pump in the septic. A guy by the name of Matt came out, and he dug a hole in the front yard to stick a hose to see if there was anything that was clogging the septic. In that process, he gets the hose stuck in our jacuzzi which is in the master bedroom. He could not take the hose back out, so he called another company so they would send a plumber to come and dislodge the hose. The man did not even wait, he charged us $275 for doing a job that was BADLY done and we paid cash again. The plumber arrives, and in the process of taking out the hose which is stuck in the jacuzzi, he breaks our jacuzzi. We called the company to complain and the owner told us that there was nothing he could do and he would not reimburse us our money back. We are now in August, we still have a broken jacuzzi and our water is backing up AGAIN! I believe that this company has scammed us! Apparently these people that have come out to our property have not done anything because our water keeps backing up. I think they sold us a broken pump, and put in water instead of the chemicals they were supposed to put into our tank as I have read other reviews from their previous customers and they said that bottles were supposed to be sealed but weren't. We are out of almost $1,400 in less than a year and are left with the same problem PLUS a broken jacuzzi thanks to these scammers. I am working with an attorney to see what we can do so this does not happen to anyone else. more

Just got my septic inspected for selling my home to find out I was completely ripped off with a $225 ""chemical treatment"" for my drain field. Wish I would have done my homework but definitely have learned my lesson and I plan to tell everyone I can to not use this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! more

This company is a rip-off!!! 1/10/2011

Our septic backed up on Jan 2nd. We called Central Florida Septic and Mike came out to the house. He complained that he did not appreciate coming out on a Sunday, he said he needed to get on the roof (for an extra couple hundred dollars) to check the pipes, he did not have a ladder, complained that we were taking too long to get out ladder out of the shed to him and that his truck was going to run out of gas, he stated that our pipes were full of roots and that we needed to cut down our trees, Mike then proceeded to give us 4 (non-sealed, non-labled) bottles of liquid (for another couple hundred dollars) to put down the toilets, and he even wanted to empty bottles back... Needless to say, the quote of $250-$275 (which was acceptable) for the draining of the septic, turned into over $700.00 worth of charges. Mike was very unprofessional!!!!! Exactly one week later, the same thing happened and our toilets and bathtubs were backed up, we called another company, who came to our house, was very pleasant (even had their own ladder!!) and they got on the roof and looked down the exact same pipe that Mike from Central Florida Septic did and stated that there was not any roots in our pipes... it was a massive clog of toilet paper... The new company gave us a bottle of liquid (with a label and seal on the bottle).... Mike from Central Fl Septic provided no guarantee on the $700+ job that he did, they new company provided 6 months. This man (Mike) and this company are a complete rip off and no one should ever use them unless they just have money to throw away!! I highly suggest Roto Rooter though, as they were not only sympathetic, but did the job for a reasonable price!!! more

They were good until they didn't do their work right... 1/13/2010

I was ok with their service. Understanding why I needed to pump septic tank so often every 4 to 5 months. Last time was in December 19 2009, not even a month has passed and the water is coming out. Their last visit they took 5 minutes to hook the hose and pump my tank without even opening the other hole. Called to complaint and was told this was gonna happen after trying to explain the owner Mike didn't wanted to hear it and hanged up on me. Pros: Quik Cons: Last Visit they took 5 minutes more

They pumped my neighbors septic and I wound up with a chemical spill in front of my house. It was a red thick fluid. I am afraid it is poisonous to the neighborhood pets.... It is a huge amount...\r \r I called Central Florida Septic and they could not care less...........\r \r They did not even have an email address to send the pictures to......\r \r The driver just walked around the truck and ignored it ..... Cons: left fluid all over road more
