Worst owner! They have a bald owner who claims he's a doctor which is not true. Like that one phrase see it to believe it. He is RACIST person. I asked for help and was there for awhile and this caucasian women came in and that wanna be DR. starts bending over backwards for her while I was just standing there. You are greeted by every memeber of the staff with a warm smile, and helpful advice. Consultations are generously extended to over the counter (OTC) medications and supplements. And...the prices are fantastic! better than the big name pharmacies, all of which have locations nearby. It is a rare experience to get this quality of care and service these days. more

i also was kind of surprised by the previous bad review. central drugs came highly recommended from 2 of my girlfriends. i spoke to someone on the phone who was very helpful. they billed my insurance for my progesterone cream, but my adrenal support herbal supplement is not covered, which is not a surprise, but they let me know that up front. i emailed the prescription and received the shipment in the mail within a few days! more

This pharmacy fills ANYTHING. I swear. Ive gotten everything from over the counter melatonin to weight loss HGT. ok....yes, so there are some employees who just mess around and screw things up, but the trick is not to ask for them. Either call on a Saturday...or ask for Josh. Simple as that. Celebrities fill here and love it. Do it. Its so much better than Walgreens. more

I just wanted to take a second to comment on my pharmacy and how great it is when I was stopped in my tracks by the previous review.\r \r I can only say that it sounds like this person didn't understand their insurance plan and was upset. \r \r Anyhow, Central is a great place for your wellness and compounded prescription needs. They take great care of me and my family. They are knowledgeable and nice. \r \r They can aslo fill my ""regular"" prescriptions much faster than the big chain pharmacies, so why go there! more

I went in to their pharmacy on 02/26/09 and submitted my prescription for P-17 a progesterone medication. I asked what my co-payment would be and was told that my insurance rejected it. I then asked what the cost would be out of pocket and was told $120.00. I reluctantly paid for it because the medication was necessary due to me being pregnant and at risk for preterm labor. Today, I called my insurance and explained what had transpired the day before. They told me that the medication was covered and that my co-pay would have been $10.00. They also told me that Central Pharmacy was the one that had cancelled the authorization. I called Central Pharmacy and spoke to Linda a Pharmacist and to Ben a Manager and was told by both of them that they pulled out because they don't get paid enough. I explained that they lied to me and led me to believe that my insurance rejected it. They commited fraud by charging me $120.00 instead of putting it through my insurance and charging me my co-payment of $10.00. They said that is the way they do business. I informed Ben that I would file a complaint because they refused to refund me the difference and also because they knowingly commit fraud against innocent consumers rather then taking it up with the insurance.
