Wherever you go stay clear. You are better off going to a reputable shop like al&ed, where you know you will pay more than the fair share. They make money on labor as well as your components at retail price while telling you its his prices. And their tint guys are sloppy and use water from the sink to do your tints. more

WOW what a dump... It looks like it hasn't been cleaned since 1980 , and same with the inventory wanted to upgrade my stereo but everything in the shop was a downgrade. The inventory was all old , most of it looked used . The service was not worth the 5 minutes I spent waiting for it, nobody had a clue i was there , and when they did show up they were lost when I asked them a simple question. I don't want to be cruel but I don't know how they stay in biz . If you want to check the shop out you cant miss it , it looks like a winchell's on glendale ave sorry guys for being so harsh , but a biz that looks like it douse not care useually douse not care....... Pros: N/A Cons: Too many to list more

decent business that gets the job done. 10/1/2008

Central Auto Sound's technician did a great job installimg my new speakers and amplified woofer. I did have to bring the car back a second time to rewire the woofer. However, it needed rewiring due to the car not the installation and Central Auto Sound did not charge me extra for their time. I also had the windows tinted. Central Auto Sound's tint technician did an awesome job on my windows. In fact I plan to go back and have my front window tinted as well. The owner Art Quattro is willing to work with his customers and is a fair business man. I did leave the car all day the first trip; however, Art told me up front it would take all day . Central Auto Sound gives you one-on-one face time to explain to them what you want, how you want it. Overall a decent business that gets the job done. Pros: local, reasonable pricing Cons: did not run across any problems more

Central Auto Sound in Glendale 4/22/2008

How do they stay in business! I took my car in for a handsfree kit and they left huge gaps and scratches in the dash panel. The owner Art said there was nothing wrong with it. He was very agitated that I found a problem with the job and was talking so fast and angry like he was going a 1000 miles an hour. Crazy place dont go there. more

I have to admit, due to the first review mentioned on this site, I was a bit skeptical to go here. But being that Central Autosound was in business for so many years, I thought, ""well, this place has got to be doing something right to stay in business for so long."" I brought my car in to get a radio and speakers installed in my car and voila ... it was all done in 3 hours with no scratches on my car whatsoever. Art, the owner, was nice and honest about all that I wanted done to my car. I'm pleased with the work done and would recommend Central Autosound. more

BEWARE!! 12/26/2007

They caused $475 worth of damage to my dash while installing XM radio. Everything they touched they scratched or broke including my overhead light and chipping the wood trim around my shifter, not to mention many deep gouges in my dash. Everyone who has seen the damage has asked the same question - "Who did this to your car". The owner denied everything except the chip in the wood panel. He yelled at me and over me and was completely unreasonable. His name is Art Quattro and the guy who did the work is Admir. I would definitely think twice about letting either of them near your car! more

BEWARE! 12/24/2007

I took my car to Central Auto Sound to have them install XM radio. I made a 9AM appointment. They kept my car all day - and when I went to pick it up I noticed that they had scratched my dash up and put deep gouges in it. They also chipped the wood trim around my shifter handle and bent the clips that hold my ceiling light in place (it's hanging down loose), as that's where they were initially going to install the unit. EVERYTHING THEY TOUCHED, THEY RUINED! When I confronted the owner about it he argued with me and then walked away - great way to run a business! Cons: Would not accept responsibiliby (or only partial responsibility) for damage to my vehicle more
