I am not one to take the time to write a review anywhere but I feel compelled to do so here because I take great offense to a previous review by KRubin about Central Autobody.\r \r I have been a customer at Central Autobody and know the owner Al for more than thirteen years. With four cars, a wife with a lead foot, and two kids with driver's licenses, I've had my share of accidents and repairs over those years. So, I speak from significant experience and without hesitation when I state that Al and his team are professionals who respect their customers. I recently had major issues with three of my vehicles ( ranging from a Mercedes to a 22-year old Corolla) and, corny as this may sound, I realize that the service and value I received could not have been better even if my own brother was running the place. They patiently address any concerns and provide VALUE, which is the key to customer service. I should know because I own my own business and happen to also work for one of the Big Three automakers. There have been instances where I have found myself being abused by my own dealership and gone to Al who somehow always managed to find a reasonable solution, leaving me to wonder ""Now, why couldn't my dealership do that for me?""\r \r Folks, I know it's not easy to find an auto repair shop that's trustworthy and competent. But if you are seeking an honest and clean repair shop, you found it. Do not hesitate to call Al, Steve, Matthew or anyone else at. Central Autobody.\r \r As for KRubin's case, I suspect he/she must have acted in a manner which crossed the line of civility, allowing his unfortunate situation to get the best of him. I've been going to Central Auto Body for the past 5 years and regardless of where I move within the tri state area I will always come back to Al and his team of professionals. I'm not a stranger when it comes to problems with my cars and there hasn't been one time where the people here haven't taken care of me in a prompt and professional manner. Hands down one of the best auto body shops in westchester. Anyone who reads this look no further and head down here. You won't regret it. more

I have been going to Central Auto Body for six years to maintain my 2 cars. Al and his team have always delivered outstanding service. They have kept my cars running like new. When I had a minor accident, I didn't think of going anywhere else. They fixed my Mercedes quickly, helped me navigate the insurance process and drove me to work when I was waiting to have the car fixed. When I got my car back, it looked better than it did the day I picked it up from the dealership. Al is professional, the shop is clean and I have always been happy with the maintenance that I had done (brakes, oil changes, transmission repair). In the many years that I have been coming to Central Auto Body, I have been very happy with all of the work that I have had done and their prices are fair. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. more

Be aware! Don't go there. They also have a Repair shop on the same street about 50 feet away from their body shop. A few months ago i took my truck for brake replacements and everything went well for a few months until my brakes gave way on a major highway almost hitting head on to vehicle slowing down for traffic. Slowly drove to emergency shoulder and noticed that rear brake pad came partially off the rotator disk. Problem was a missing bolt that holds the brake pad in place. Serious problem that could had cause me serious injury. Anyway, went to shop on the following day to ask for a repair or credit, but i was confronted by one of the persons in charge. threatenned and kicked out of establishment. I have a leased 2011Audi A4 which is due back to the Dealer early next year. I needed body work done on one side of the car - both doors. Central Auto Body of Westchester (Al) was highly recommended by a friend, so I brought my car for repair. Al fixed my car beautifully and within the promised time needed for these repairs. He additionally fixed all dings ( and there were many) on all sides of my car. He went above and beyond with the repairs of what was originally agreed. My car was clean inside and out and it looked brand new when I picked it up. Al runs a very professional and clean shop. more

The service at this auto body shop was absolutely amazing! After a long trying day of tickets and a car accident, I had been sent over to Al to repair my passenger's side view mirror this evening. Exhausted and low on funds, I drove over to the shop with hopes that someone would be able to help me with my problem. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by friendly faces which was exactly what I needed to see after crying crocodile tears all day. Luckily, those friendly faces were able to help me, and they did so in less than a half hour! The best part of my experience was the pricing of the job. How can you beat free? Now, I know you've read some of these review comments above mine. One particularly from my best friend, Siobhan Clarke. Please let me be the first to say that there was no exaggeration in her review!!! With that said, I am certain that the other reviews are just as honest and true! I strongly advise and recommend that if any of you reading this are in need of some type of body work done on your car to go to Central Auto Body Collision. They're open until 6pm Monday through Friday, so don't worry about rushing over to beat the usual 5pm closing time. Also, you'll be saving a lot of money, so there will be no worries about the gas millage lost to get over there if you do not live in the area. more

Today was a trying day, for both my best friend and I. We were in a minor collision in Manhattan, an unfortunately her right mirror was taken off her Chrysler 200, 2011 model. Shaken up we were quite distraught, we started calling around and we found a Junk yard that had the part. The gentlemen referred us to them to do the work, taking off the whole side mirror and reconstructing it with the piece left from the collision. Prompt with customer service, the President of the company Mr. Al Omoush met us at our car telling us to pull into the garage, and he quickly had one of his workers assist us right away. Sitting in the car, we looked at each other wondering how much it was it going to cost for the work. We were quite low on funds!! A couple of minutes later Mr. Al Omoush appeared to check on the progress with the car asking if we needed anything else. So, she asked how much it was going to cost. So he said, ""$150.00""!! Yes folks, he also has a wonderful sense of humor. We said, ""Oh no!"" He was like, ""it's fine, I'm just kidding."" Putting us at ease. He offered us comfortable seating in the office while the car was being serviced. While waiting, we still didn't have the foggiest idea as to what the work was going to cost. So in walked in Mr. Al Omoush, being attentive and caring about our situation asking how much could we afford to pay..... we said $20.00.... LOLOLOLOL seriously, we said $20.00!!!!!! He looked at us, in disbelief. He said, ""come on guys, that isn't even realistic. But let me work out the numbers, and i'll let you know."" Shortly after, he comes in telling us, that the car was done and that he wasn't charging us for the work done on the car. "" IT'S FREE GIRLS, FREE, GO HOME, PUT YOUR MONEY IN YOUR POCKET AND ENJOY YOUR DAY!!! We were so shocked, but so ecstatic that we were able to save money. You know that most auto repair shops try to rob you blind, but no here. They're more than fair, and exceptionally generous.\r \r Excellent service wouldn't even be the word to describe the service at this Auto Body Shop. They care about your experience and they do phenomenal work. The mirror works perfectly, like nothing happened to it. Elated, they sure turned our crappy day into a wonderful one! \r \r A Super big thank you, to Mr. Al Omoush and staff, for working so quickly and diligently on our behalf.
