Wonderful night out with a couple of friends -- mom's night out... 38-40 year old women :). Very nice atmosphere with yummy martinis (served in stemmed martini glasses) and really yummy pizza. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. We would like to bring the hubbies back... however, not really a kid friendly environment (not a traditional pizza parlor). First off, let me say that any new restaurant in West Linn deserves kudos for courage; the place is lacking in adequate eateries! It's clear that the owners of Centanni had A Vision--one that involved the intermingling of wood-fired pizza, cold metallic decor, martinnis up the wazoo, and pro wrestling on giant, state-of-the-art flatscreens. A winning combo? Ask yourself. To the place's credit: the food can be tasty, and it's a relief to have a local Italian joint. My friend and I decided to try Centanni one Monday evening for drinks. I had driven by it a few times and wanted to try it instead of driving to downtown PDX. I knew there was a happy hour but wasn't sure if there were any martini specials. During regular hours the martinis vary from $8-12! To our great pleasure, the drinks were 50% off during happy hour. We did not have any food - but the last reviewer said the pizzas are 50% off as well. That's a good deal. They smelled delicious. Pros: Happy hour, ambience, smell! Cons: ? more

We popped in to check this place out as it is close to our house and we drive by almost every day. They make their pizzas in a wood fired brick oven which makes for a great tasting, fast to the table pizza! We were with another couple and tried four of their martini's: Oregon Marion-berry, Pomegranate, Lemon Raspberry, and a Godiva chocolate one - ALL were super yummy although I liked the Pomegranate the best and the Godiva one was desert in a glass! Great customer service although we were there late on a Monday so there were only a few people. Adam who is a partner in the restaurant served us at the bar and we met their chef which is always nice. They have outside seating which is always a great option to have although it is right off of HWY 43 so not the best atmosphere outside. We are going back for their happy hour, 4-6, when pizzas are 50% off! Regular prices didn't look bad for their pasta and main dishes either ranging from $8 to about $18 (I think $18 was about their most expensive give or take a buck.) Not an extensive menu but I like that - too many choices can get over whelming and they had enough variety to give a diner options. Would reccomend especially if you live in the area! Pros: Atmosphere, wood fired pizzas and great service. Cons: Outside area not so great - but at least they HAVE an outside seating option! more
