I purchase my Cavalier King Charles Gorden from Marie in September 2001 and he passed away in January 2016. This is a very long lifespan for Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The breed in general is prone to mitral heart valve disease which many have from a young age. The vet was always nicely surprised that Gorden did not develop this until late in life and was living a great life and only needed to be medicated his last two years. I am confused because she has negative reviews but my experience was great. At the time of purchase I did not know about puppy mills so I would definitely think twice about this before another purchase but we were very happy with our Gorden who lived a long happy healthy life.
