Celebrity Beauty Supply & Salon

This weekend my wife told me about her experience with Celebrity Beauty Supply. Thursday 2/16/12 She purchased a cuticle trimmer at their Cooper Hill location. She works near their store and to help keep our money in our community as I always preach she decided to start shopping there. The item was only $.99 cents. (Good price?) That night she tried the tool out, it would not cut her cuticle, thats right a cuticle. My wife returned the item the next morning. The lady in the store refused to take back the trimmer, a health issue, my wife had touched it. My wife politely explained she had purchased the item less than 24 hours before, it was defective, please give her a new on. Again the store refused. Now 99 cents even in this economy will not break anybody. The principal of the issue is now the problem. She asked to speak to the manager, the young lady got out her cell phone called the owner? Explained the situation and then told my wife, Sorry they would not exchange the item, give her a new one or her $99 cents. Really? Needless to say the trimmer went in the trash. The complete failure of this store over $. 99 cents? Plus tax. As I recommend the store to my wife after reading all the glowing reviews. (Opp's my bad) I had to take the time to write this review. My wife and I believe strongly in keeping our money in the community at locally owned stores, but not this one. more

whenever you move to a new city finding a good hairdresser isn't easy. My hair was also really damaged and dry for some poor highlighting. Jennifer V.@ Celebrity Beauty salon was a Godsend! My hair looks so healthy now with soft, "natural" highlights. Also, I LOVE her haircuts! All the friends I have referred are very happy. One even got a Brazilian Blowout and just loves it! I may be next! You can stop jumping around from hairdresser to hairdresser now!! =) more

Adrienne hasn't been there in a long time. She was writing her own reviews. To me that is sad. The BEST hairdresser at Celebrity is Merci. Her prices are better than everyone else there, and she does a great job! All of my friends go to her and we are all very happy. She also cuts my daughter's hair and only charges $11. Never had a bad experience!! more

I just had my highlights & cut with Adrienne for the first time the other day, and I am so happy. Adrienne is so understanding when it comes to listening to just what your looking for. And she wasn't shocked when I asked the ill faded question on, just how much is this going to cost me? She smiled and said, she has a special for first time clients. All it cost me was 75.00 for EVERYTHING!!!****** Pros: I can't believe just how reasonable Adrienne is? Cons: None at all, I'm VERY impressed with Adrienne! more

Ok...I have been looking for a great hairstylist for sometime now. I moved here from Hollywood 2 years ago and was still driving to get my hair done. The drive was killing me! I looked around Valencia when I first moved here for someone to do my hair. Even going as far as to visiting a few salons. What a disaster that was! High prices with low results! I found her on the net and I'm so happy I did! She knows her stuff. My hair was icky and dry with no life left in it. But she was still able to highlight it without it ending up in the sink!!! Yes it's happened before;( Adrienne also gave me a deep conditioning treatment so that my hair was soft and full of life again. Then when it was time for my trim, Adrienne made sure that she didn't cut off too much. Wow, she really listened to everything I asked for and then some. I recommend Adrienne to anyone looking for something AND someone new! more

after reading so many reviews about Adrienne I had to call her! She is really that good! And she told me she had just moved back from Concerto salon a couple of months ago. And since city search has changed there format, things are all over the place. But I am so glad I did my research on this stylist! Adrienne has made me so pretty! What a lifesaver! My hair has been a mess for the last year, always in a ponytail & being to lazy to try and fix it! It just didn't look good if I even tried. I can't believe what a difference a day makes? My best friend has been going to Adrienne for awhile now. We went to lunch a couple of weeks ago, and I couldn't get over how great her hair looked! I noticed right away her hair was 1.) a differen't color 2.) highlights and 3.) ALOT fuller and thicker. Whoa!! You look like a totally differen't person, I said as she walked through the door. She was just grinning from ear to ear as she told me about Adrienne and that she has found her fountain of youth! It is so amazing how soft and real her extensions match her hair. Adrienne told her it is of the highest grade studio hair. I tell you what, they are because she matched her hair color and texture perfectly! So I called and spoke with Adrienne to make my appointment, and here I am looking amazing too. Color, highlights with some lowlights mixed in, but no extensions for me this time. I made my appointment for those in a couple of weeks. Adrienne wanted to have my color just the way I wanted it, then match my colors perfectly. She said, I will need 4 differen't colors for movement and effect. Whatever that means? I trust her with it all, and can't wait for my day with her! I am so glad I found you!!!! I wish you the BEST! ok ok ok....Adrienne has just worked her magic AGAIN! How do you ALWAYS seem to make me sooooooo Beautiful? I have been going to Adrienne for sometime now and I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!!!!! She's HIP, FUN, with laughs EVERY minute your in her chair. She makes you feel as if your her friend from LONG ago...the VERY 1st time you meet her. I found her on Citysearch and feel bad that I never posted a review about her. But I'm glad I'm taking just a few seconds to let all of you know just how talented she REALLY is. There are other stylist's in this salon, BUT none with the experience and drive of this girl. She tops MOST with her many years of training. There is simply NO guessing with her! She knows what she is doing, and makes you feel at ease. I have been to other salons and haven't found that ease in there hands. I am hooked! Adrienne is the ONLY name you need to ask for if you want a change for the better! She's newly 40, but looks 30! Welcome to the club, YOU GO GIRL!!!! We all love you!!!!! I first found Brittany on myspace and decided to try her after I had a bad experience at a different salon...it was the best decision I could have made! Not only did she fix my hair debacle, she far exceeded my expectations! It's hard to find a hairstylist that can cut AND color well, but I have finally found one. Not to mention, she doesn't book multiple clients at a time, so she can really dedicate her time to each and every one of them. I would definitely recommend her to ANYONE who wants a pain free experience at the salon...LOVE YOU BRIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! The price was okay... my hair looks good... the staff is friendly...the place is nice and clean... and they have a very good store stocked full of every brand of haircare and supplies... Overall, it was a satisfactory experience! more

I had my hair colored and highlighted last week by Adrienne and I look amazing! I told her I would write a review on citysearch, since this is how I found her in the first place...HA! She was so busy the day I had my hair done that I forgot to make my next appointment with her. I just called her and she told me she had moved salons. She is at, Concherto's Salon & Spa now on Cinema Drive...Valencia...I wanted to write a review about how totally fantastic she really is and to let everyone know where she is, so they won't miss out on her. I was recovering from a series of bad haircuts when I read Adrienne's reviews on Citysearch. I thought wow, either she has a lot of very supportive friends or she is that good. Well, she really is THAT good! She's the real thing!. She totally understood my hair with its difficulties (thin and thinning) and explained why my current cut wasn't working with my hair. The cut she gave me was very similar to what I had before except that this time it worked for me. The subtle differences in technique made all the difference.
