Cedar Bluff Towing

They towed my nephews car 1/14/14 approx. 10 miles to their office, towed it to body shop 1/15/14 approx. 5 miles, I called that morning for my total bill (my insurance co. recommended I called because they are known for ""overcharging"" customers drastically!) they said it was $495.00, I said that seems high but go ahead. My body shop called me (when they delivered car) and said my bill was $845.00!! I called Cedar Bluff Towing immediately, they showed NO concern and that the bill would remain $845.00. Knox County Sheriff called them to the site, I will be calling them to NOT use this company. My brother is a web designer, and I intent to spread this word all over the internet. Don't get me wrong, I am all about this co. making a good living, but this is insane! I plan on carrying this dispute much further, I will assure you, they cannot show 10 invoices for that same day for $845.00 for 2 tows less than 10 miles!! My insurance will pay the bill, BUT I plan on taking this matter to the next step. Thank you for reading, and if you are involved in a wreck, DON""T LET THE POLICE CALL CEDAR BLUFF TOWING!! I chose one star because at least one is required. They deserve 0 stars. Absolutely a waste to work with. FORGET COSTUMER SERVICE!!! I was informed it would only take 45mins for a driver to show up with a rollback. 4hours later they showed up with a tow truck. I called multiple times asking where the driver was and i was given a lie each time, (they will be there in 30 mins). The lies were confirmed by the driver once they finally showed up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Large outfit that has become unattached to what its customers require and need. Worst part is they DONT CARE that you are stranded and know you have to pay. DO NOT USE!!!!! more

this guys what a rip off my car broke down they impounded it and costed me 273.00 to get it back i didnt have the money so it sat there for 4 days the day i found out it was impounded i called them and they told me it would be 126.00 to get it out so i had to wait till friday the gentlemen didnt even tell me its 25.00 plus tax for each additonal day its there and costed me 65 dollars to have it towed back to my house 5 miles away these guys bent me over bad and took turns i will never use them in the future Pros: not professional Cons: expensive more
