Never Use Cathy's Camera. After my son graduated from RPI, we decided to use her services. She sent proof which we picked and paid for quite a few photos. She then gave a litany of excuses about how her hard drive crashed and she lost the files. The sad thing about the whole affair, it was the last time my father was in a professional photo with my children, and now that moment is lost. I tried on many occasions to get my money back, about $300, but she never returned my calls. I finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Albany. She did not respond to that either. Take my advice, take your business and memories elsewhere. more

Cathy's Camera 11/13/2005

Cathy is the best photographer that we have worked with! She is extremely talented and patient with children (and parents). We have worked with other photographers in the area and our children would just cry. Each time we came in to select a proof it was easy b/c there were not many to choose from. This is not the story with Cathy. There are no more tears and each proof is fantastic making it hard to select just one!! We continue to be amazed by Cathy's talent, patience and her natural way with children. She is a true jem and it is a priviledge to have her assistance in building memories to last a lifetime. Pros: Patient, Talented, Flexible Cons: none, none, none more
